$TSLA

  1. Connections? Money? Fear of public ire?

Tesla's deadly big battery pack is a deal breaker for family use IMO.

Anyone trading TSLA yesterday or today?

It's supposedly a good trading stock because of its big moves. Yes?

I think it was TSLA's "plunge protection team".... Guido and Louie paid Magna a visit.
I guess OptionsOptionsOptions ain't getting his $320 this week.

  5. I'm a true newbie here, who are they?

I'm sure he's got other ways to make money on TSLA.

I'm still studying option strategies, thanks to goddamn expensive TSLA options.

I think Tesla is a great and fun case study on a variety of things, including stock trading.

    Soros and Tesla

Soros Fund Management has become a major backer of Tesla, buying $35 million worth of its bonds. Tesla is hemorrhaging money and leans heavily on bond offerings right now. George Soros's fund, which recently dumped all its Amazon stock, has also sold its small stake in Twitter. Its latest regulatory filing shows, however, that it has been buying into Netflix. 8. Is this trader forum really that influential? :sneaky:;)

TSLA isn't doing much today. Tightly range bound on low volume, despite some more bad news.

    1:30pm central time update:
sudden bigger buy blocks ... TTT here? :sneaky:

So a fund is buying and selling equities. Who would have thought? I would be more interested in the timing of the buy in, maybe they only paid 80 cents on the dollar.

  10. George Soros is one famous vulture and speculator. Not sure what to make of it. He's known for shorting the British Pound and making a killing in the early 1990s. He also mounted a successful attack on the Thai Baht in 1997.

Ron Baron may be shaking in his boots now?:D:D
