Was anybody able to short TSLA for real? It is an IPO with a small float. Please tell me what brokerage firm you use and I would like to set up an account there.
I'm using Questrade and I managed to short it but I think timing was key because I tried a few more times as it went down and couldn't get any more shares. Now that it's on another run upward the chances are more likely you can short it again.
If anybody claims to have shorted this stock, please provide a screen shot, or update my possibly expired belief that IPO's are not shortable within their first thirty days. Also, if an IPO is not shortable and it goes below it's opening price does this necessarily mean that insiders or underwriters are selling their shares?
your belief is widely held, and like many beliefs is as devoid of truth as it can get. kind of like liberalism
