I'm very conflicted here. Elon is just another grifter, and buying Twitter was just another one of his games. But he actually got lucky in this case in that it gave him another pet project to work on, and I think the impacts it had on free speech have been positive. Similarly, no matter how much you hate Trump, going after the corruption of the US government I think outshines any of the dumb moves like tariffs. Closing the border was essential, and shutting down agencies like USAID and exposing all of that corruption will actually make the most profound difference for the little guy. This woke and DEI bullshit also had to go, and these things are I think more important than whatever economic policies he fucks up.
Its the economy stupid! IMO social ills or differences and all the rest are secondary. Corruption: MAGA Steve Bannon just pled guilty to build the wall BS. Pardon to come next, then appointment to work alongside Musk "saving" 2 trill. Meanwhile Tes-shit sub $330 lol
Allowing an unelected illegal (Musk) access to the payment systems is criminal, as been shown by the federal courts. You don't GAF as you're a Brit and TBH I am not going to be schooled by a Brit about US govt. USAID is a vestige of the CIA. There was no corruption there and hearing about it from two of the most corrupt mofos on Earth falls on deaf ears. Lastly, nobody cares what a broke Brit cryptobro thinks so I'll stop here.
The only way to stop all of these problems is to remove the government's ability to print money. Everything should be done in a truly free market.
OrangeTard and Elon are the current problem. First death, of likely mannnny to come, in Myanmar related to USAID shutdown. As for money printing, that of course will go on till it no longer can.
If we are going to start counting deaths, perhaps we need to go all the way back to all the unnecessary wars that the US has started in order to feed the war machine that makes so much profits for the politicians. Yes, money printing will go on until it can't. Perhaps we can hit a major road block this decade.
