Well, if that's the way TSLA trades, I guess TSLA will shoot up to $400 when Tesla announces another round of capital raise with massive dilution in 3 months. And when Tesla declares bankruptcy and seeks Chapter 11 protection, TSLA will break $500. Time to load up on TSLA Jan 2019 $500 calls?
I didn't say tomorrow. Give it a few days. It is breaking out of its BBs. The market is also breaking upward, helping it... I love reading SA articles about its fundamentals but they always forget the CHARTS...
Two days ago in Florida 2 boys (18 years old) got killed driving a Tesla, and a third one was thrown out of the car as he did not wear his seatbelt. He luckily survived. First investigation shows that the battery exploded and was in fire causing the car to crash at high speed. National Transportation Safety Board is starting an investigation. So again an exploding battery. I don't Google these accidents, they appear on a regular base in a newspaper that I read.
The problem is not the risk, but how they control it. And that seems to be a problem for Tesla. There are percentage wise , much more accidents with exploding Teslas then with exploding conventional cars. I know a lot of people driving BMW, Mercedes Audi or Porsche, but never heard about an exploding tank.
Desperate finding money... https://www.autoblog.com/2018/05/08/tesla-car-factory-collateral/?guccounter=1 They still have enough cash they say. They will be profitable before end of the year they say. Why they need to find fresh money again then? It reminds me of a situation when I was treasury manager. We had to make a big investment and therefore we needed a loan. But when I made my cashflow forecast for the next few years (when the investment would be made) I saw that cash was going down. This would mean that by the time we needed that money our balance sheets would not be good enough to get the money. So the strategy I used was to take a loan now (much too early), based on our actual balance sheets (that still looked good) while still having a few hundred million cash at the bank. By doing that we avoided the refusal of the banks. When the balance sheets became worse, the loan was already running. We never got in trouble, but we got better conditions and an easier YES to the loan as we were still generating lots of cash when we initiated the loan. On top of that rates went up later so we made an additional profits as we paid less interest. Saved us millions on that project. Tesla might be doing the same. Quickly try to fix funding before the real trouble starts.
lying sack above Gotta do better than that shorties. Perhaps go autopilot at the same spot that someone else died, ignoring warnings when already known issue. Seriously, we need a Chanos video meme like that https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech...illed-2-teens-probed-investigators/596728002/
Just to clarify: I have a lot of respect to Musk, but the fact is he continues misleading investors for years. I mean, the company is in business for 15 years, and still losing money, but has market cap similar to GM??
