If Tesla isn't taken over by a competitor, then yes, it will become a darling of pennystockland where stocks can go up 1000% in short order and then crash and burn only to do it again.

However, I do think Tesla holds innovative value, and GM or Ford would like to get their hands on it.

Then again, I may be assuming Tesla has an EV tech superiority that it doesn't have or at least will not hold onto very much longer. In which case, there will be no corporate buyers of the company.

Electric vehicle maker Tesla could soon announce its first automotive assembly plant in Mexico, according to Milenio.

The automaker is reportedly acquiring land in Nuevo Leon, a Mexican state bordering Texas, and will produce the new Semi, an all-electric Class 8 truck, at the site.

“Tesla will arrive in Santa Catarina [Nuevo Leon]. In the coming weeks, the investment will be finalized, [and] after the end of the year it will be announced,” read the document that Milenio reviewed.

Santa Catarina is a small municipality near the Mexican city of Monterrey, about 140 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border crossing in Laredo, Texas.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk held a meeting in Mexico in October with Nuevo Leon Gov. Samuel Garcia, along with Ken Salazar, the U.S. ambassador to Mexico, to discuss investments in the country, according to Reuters.

Austin, Texas-based Tesla has its own lane at the U.S.-Mexico border crossing in Nuevo Leon to facilitate trade for local automotive suppliers, the state government announced in August.

Tesla debuted its long awaited Semi truck earlier this month during a live event at the company’s Nevada Gigafactory.

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) delivered the first two Semi trucks to PepsiCo subsidiary Frito-Lay during the Nevada event.

According to Musk, Tesla is aiming to ramp up Semi production to 50,000 units per year by 2024. Tesla has not officially announced where Semi production will take place.

TSLA trading at $149 in the AH.

Cathie Wood could have bought around 3300 shares more today than hse did yesterday had she only waited.

But she really ought to just wait for $5/share.

Taleb was going to write "the genius of Trump, Musk, and bitcoin peddlers" and changed "Musk" to "Nigerian scammers" out of fear that Musk would ban him.

Being that we are all traders on this forum, at what price would TSLA need to drop to for you to start loading up?

Even with Musk selling and TWTR drama, TSLA is the leading EV maker with the best margins. The Gigapress stamping out new cars in under an hour is unprecedented in the industry.

I personally think that the old adage "the market is always right" meant that the price dropping was the market indicating the macroeconomics were going to weaken demand so it really didn't matter if Musk had sold.

Under $10 I start buying LEAPS in anticipation of Tesla getting taken over by GM or Ford.

No, outstanding shares is 3.16B. At $10, market cap is $31.5B.

In comparison, market caps of other automakers.
    TM $198B
    VW $89.48B
    GM $51.35B
    F $48.72B

    Other EVs companies
    RIVN $19.85B
    LCID $12.385B
    NIO $19.4B
    LI $20B

If TSLA has same valuation at TM, then price is at about $63. Gotta think TSLA is a screaming buy at that level. I would start accumulating at around $100.

The devil in me wants to see it at $63. Wanna see how the TSLA fan boys will react. LOL. It will be the end of the world. :D
