And LIDAR is ESSENTIAL. USDOT is not going to approve any tech w/o LIDAR... which Elon refuses to develop. Bosch is a year away from rolling it out.

 

Bats don't need LIDAR to navigate in the dark or find their meal. Could it be Elon is right?
