But if Musk decides he needs to sell, oh, another 500 million in Tesla stock to do something over at TWTR, don't you think the TESLA 2022 peeps should know and be concerned about it?
Yes, I do. However the conversation was started about Musk and Twitter which had nothing to do with Tesla.
Little comparison, taken from James Stevenson YouTube video 3 days ago: YTD Q3 2022 Earnings : GM Deliveries: 2.613M (wholesale) Revenue: $113.6B Net Income: $7.935B GAAP NI Margin: 7.0% Profit per Delivery:$3,037 F: Deliveries: 3.084M (wholesale) Revenue: $114.1B Net Income (loss): ($8.925B) GAAP NI Margin: (8.6%) Profit per Delivery: ($2,894) TSLA: Deliveries: 0.909M Revenue :$57.1B Net Income: $8.869B GAAP NI Margin: 15.5% Profit per Delivery: $9,761
All this is a great example of how if you haven't read Shiller's Narrative Economics you need to ASAP. So much of the population is hopelessly addicted to social media that there are levels to the narrative driving everything. Goes from a hero to unmentionable in the blink of an eye, "El*n" lol. So many mentally ill people in our society. Hopefully these stupid meaningless narratives drive the price of TSLA down further so I can buy some. At this multiple they are on the table for me but I would like a deeper discount still.
I know a bull YouTuber came up with a 140 bottom. The fact that he's been ostracized by the Tesla groupies lends credibility to his prediction. I just hope it doesn't drop so low because it makes the recovery extend further into the future.
