I have found the relevant numbers... "The Bloomberg tracker uses VINs to estimate weekly production and it missed by 16% in Q1 alone. The Q4 numbers were also off for most of the the quarter till they automagically corrected themselves in the last day."
Not sure what all that means or proves exactly (I assume its the volume of vehicles currently being shipped)... but hats off to you on that kind of outside the box research.
