It is Alive! And it is FUGLY!!! Edit: The fuckers just broke the window (apparently twice) of the truck while presenting the unbreakable window.
This has to go down as one of the worst new car introductions in auto history. He never showed the interior, never explained the cupholders...lol, barely showed the truck bed, never showed it running, the glass broke.......but I still hope it is successful.
Interview with Jim Chanos where he discusses TSLA: https://app.hedgeye.com/insights/79...h-renowned-short-seller-jim-chanos?type=macro Says they remain short (vs NDX) and the equity is likely worthless - unless those million robotaxis turn up soon. Not that it helps all the shorts that gone blown out a few weeks back.
When they were demonstrating the strength of the glass, they changed from a small steel ball to a large one. Why was it necessary to change the size of the ball they used and why didn't they explain the weight of each ball they were dropping or even the height......? The introduction was nice with the laser lights and the smoke, but it was downhill after that. The explanations they illustrated on the screen behind him were hard to see as well. I am still flustered as to why he did not bother to open the door to show the interior and why he did not show the truck bed. Or explain any technological features, like backup cameras etc... Maybe the online site will be better.
Direct quote from Elon: "It's actually comparable to a gasoline truck that is 10 to 15 thousand dollars less" Yeah you got that right... Most of the first responses are negative:
Elon should have explained some of these features. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/aut...-BBX9kpo?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=wispr#interstitial=2
