Nah, one can be wrong about Tesla, or the market reaction to news, but Elon is just the same old scammer. "...just reported negative growth on a year-over-year basis, September 2019 quarter vs. September 2018. Revenue was down 6%, gross profit down 22%, operating income down 37%, and net income attributable to shareholders down 54%."
%% Possible, but can a leopard change its spot?? [I admitted if they fired Mr Musk + got all thier 191% debt forgiven , it could work LOL] NOT a prediction............................................................
You know, the funny thing is, one day last week I sold all my shares. I thought I would become a more active trader, take better advantage of big movers. I forget the exact price I sold, maybe 230 or 240. TA suggested to me that the move up was gonna hit resistance and need more time to consolidate before moving up any more..,
Surprise. Didn't think you would ever sell, much less at $240. I think it's a golden opportunity to go short here. Tesla numbers smelled fishy at first glance. Now that the 10Q is out, my suspicions have been confirmed. Shorting more here. Might need to hold more than a few weeks. The surge was mostly due to short covering. TSLA is going back down to where it came from - $265 and below IMHO.
You know my last post was really fishing for haters. My SO noted my increased trading and time at 'puter, commented on it. I talked about how great I was going to become (LOL) got my arse handed to me with the look. "I thought you were going to just hold onto things?" So, I bought back in a few dollars higher. Also, the day before earnings I added a months worth of savings. Yeah it should not rocket the way it was, but can't really tell. There are some that might argue for a flag if things go right. I don't know what it is gonna do short term, but long term it seems to be the future. If they get everything right my early estimates are low.
". The documents also showed that the Tesla solar-roof-tile product, which was unveiled to the public just before the acquisition was approved by the board, didn't work. " In other places they call this fraud. https://www.businessinsider.com/elo...nzied-plan-new-filings-show-2019-10?r=US&IR=T
Hindsight is 20-20,” Musk said. “If I could wind back the clock, you know, I would say probably would have let SolarCity execute by itself.” https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...-deal-has-become-top-threat-to-tesla-s-future
“we’re turning our attention to solar, and we’re going to fix it.” When pressed for details on the challenges with the acquisition, Musk called the lawyer “shameful” and a “very, very bad person” for scrutinizing a company that’s trying to change the world for the better. how Trumpian.
