Trying to understand CL vs gas prices

Here are two (rather raw) charts. One is of CL and the other is of the price of gasoline.

What I am trying to understand is the price relationship. It seems to me that the price of gasoline doesn't always reflect the price of CL. For example, at the beginning of '04, CL is at about $33 and at the same time the price of gas is about $2.05. Now if we move forward to Jun 12 (the last price data in the gas prices) we see that the price of CL is about $72, but the price of gas is $3.13. So CL has doubled in price, but the price of gasonline has nowhere near doubled. Does this imply a non linear relation between gas and oil? Or perhaps interest rates affects oil but not gasoline?

I am wondering if I am missing something, or if it is just that these charts are innacurate?

Never mind, I answered my own question. The price of gas at the beginning of '04 is $1.65 not $2.05.
