unfortunately someone who's been immersed in both. I believe video games give people a more closed view of reality since it separates imagination from real life. Whereas LSD melds the two together. I've had some really amazing epiphanies and insights from LSD. Not trying to advocate drug use, I'm talking about large screen displays here incase anyone was wondering.
60% performance for 20 years is doable for a retail trader 60% a year for 20 years would make you a world famous trader - especially for a retail trader. Retail as a group under performs the market - and the more active traders as a group under perform by a much wider margin.
Retail as a group doesn't study. But the majority of institutional investors doesn't outperform the market either, does it?
That's the whole point of the article. Most of these articles about talent on Wall Street are coming from SAC's camp. They are screaming "people don't want to work here. We will pay you a lot if you are talented." If you have a scalable strategy, you should find a way to apply.
Where can I get some good a Where can I get some good acid? I don't trust anything sold as LSD. I hear it is just not viable to make it unless it is made in very large batches and there just isn't the market for that anymore like there was in the 60's.
The majority of institutional investors doesn't outperform the market either, does it? Institutions and hedge funds make their money from their customer's. They make money even when they under perform the market. Where can I get some good acid? What about magic mushrooms from a cow field? You can also get nearly the same effect from meditation if you stick with for a while - like say a few months. "The mind is a terrible thing to taste - Ministry"
You can also get the same effect from staying awake for 100 hours straight. It is hard to do, but a very natural way to dive into the rabbit hole, even if you can make it to just 60ish-hours of awake time.
