    Hi
I am trying to move from CFD to futures, was checking on CME , is there a daily halt of 1 hr at 10PM UK time and then can't enter a trade at 10PM UK time for futures? These are for all forex majors looks like.
can anyone let me know please?

  2. what is the difference of trading cfd from its base instrument directly if holding period is just a few minutes?

Futures are halted for one hour, from 17:00 ET -- 18:00 ET. And you need to liquidate your holdings if your position is above maintenance margin.
If you position trade currency, then I see forex is better. If you daytrade currency, I see futures are better.

    Correct.
4-5 PM central U.S. time = 10-11 PM UK time (FX futures closed to trading)

Thanks, do you know if one could give pending order between 10-11?

That would depend on the execution platforms. As far as I recall, some do and some do not.

It shows that the tick value for the JPY/USD is $112.50. it's $6.25.
