what did go wrong that you had to ask for the answers here that were not given when i guess you paid for the program?

i think maybe you're blind and can't see that "the value of trading information is directly inverse of it's cost".

that is why elite trader is successful all these years from the wisdom garnered from oceans of free information.

but it can't be that simple right? so go yonder into the dark night ....

I didnt pay for the course because im a poor so i bought it from one of those rip of sites. Therefore I dont have access to ask Minervini directly. Can we please stay on topic rather than the meta?

Sorry about that. The question was about risk management and the attachment is about position sizing.

Yeah that tight of a stoploss wouldn't work for me. I cant count how many times a stock has moved against me 4,5,6% after entry only to reverse, move in my favor and eventually offer me a really nice profit on the trade. You're never gonna catch the exact top or bottom(although I've come real close a few times).

he oftimes doesnt have a stop that tight. i see a lot of the time hes closer to 6 or 7 but its avgd over his whole career he says. if you trade a lot of boring 1% ADR stocks that hardly move you can easily get a 2-3% stop.

I suppose that's true,I try not to trade such stocks,I need more volatility. For me there is a sweet spot as far as cap size goes.

    Not following you 100%

Are you asking what percent of the time is Minervini is stopped out?

Or are you asking whats the avg stop loss percentage when stopped out?

I'd like to know what is the average percent he stops out at on a trade thats gone bad. Although now that you mention it it would also be nice to know what percent of the time he gets stopped out overall.
