Many in the financial markets strategically register as Democrats. A shrewd move to stay off the radar screen when the IRS goes rogue. (Google "Lois Lerner')

I just want to stay a sponsor as I enjoy this more than having a debate over politics.

How does it make the poor poorer?

The poor choose to remain poor. The poor make bad decisions in life. They don't plan well; not our problem.

Your opinion maybe, or you think that is Trumps opinion, but it still doesn't explain how a tax plan makes the poor poorer.

I live in NY and pay a boatload in State income taxes and property taxes. Some of the pain does get alleviated with the allowance to offset that against the Federal tax bill.

    Trump's plan disallows this deduction.

All these years I have been looking for a catalyst to finally leave this State - this would definitely be it. I would probably relocate to FL. Not sure whether it would be Tampa area or Southern FL.

  7. Trump won't get anything done. Even the tax reform seems unrealistic right now.

No Federal deduction of State taxes: Trump's revenge against all the highly taxed Democrat States: Cali, NY, NJ, MA...

I had high hopes from Trump but he is dashing them rapidly.

I wonder if he comes to WH in a suit, tie, and cheap flip flops.
