If you are really into US and world politics, I highly recommend the books below. by Eustace Mullins: - "The Secrets of the Federal Reserve" (1952) A must-read for anyone who wants to understand the nature of political power, and its dominant source in the US. IMHO, no one has any business talking about politics until he understands the Federal Reserve and fractional reserve banking. That's the bare minimum - necessary but not sufficient. It also pays to learn something about two previous private central banks in America - The First Bank of the United States (1791-1811), and The Second Bank of the United States (1816-1836). When George Carlin said "You've got owners. They own you", he wasn't joking. The 7th US President Andrew Jackson (1767-1845) had this to say when he vetoed the extension of charter for The Second Bank of the United States: "Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves. I intend to rout you out, and by the Eternal God, I will rout you out." by John Perkins - "Confessions of An Economic Hit Man" (2005) by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: - "The neoconservative Threat to World Order: Washington's Perilous War for Hegemoney" (2015) - "How America Was Lost: From 9/11 to the Police/Warfare State" (2014) by Dr. F. William Engdahl - "The Lost Hegemon: Whom the gods would destroy" (2016) - "Target: China: How Washington and Wall Street Plan to Cage the Asian Dragon" (2014) - "A Century of War: Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order" (2012) - "Seeds of Destruction: The Hidden Agenda of Genetic Manipulation" (2007) by Dr. Michael Hudson - "Killing the Host: How Financial Parasites and Debt Bondage Destroy the Global Economy" (2015) by John Hamer - "Behind the Curtain: A Chilling Exposé of the Banking Industry" (2016).
Do they offer an alternative to the current American financial (& political?) system, which I believe they hate in their books, right? What country is their role model?
There is no factual basis for your belief. And it's not a proper inquiry if you think about it. No system works with a misinformed or uninformed populace / electorate. If you know someone is out to screw you, would you let them? No, right? That's the system.
