  7. I saw wrbtrading’s BS post (He has me on ignore). Actually, it’s the Leftist media and the Democrats who spend much of their time making things political, like the Coronavirus or any statement that can be remotely interpreted as racist, sexist or homophobic. Even the Trump campaign’s tagline, “Make America Great Again”, (MAGA) was made political by the Democrats. Look at all the posts on ET where “MAGA” is used derisively by our resident Leftists.

Alas, wrbtrading, although smart, is among the p*ss**s I mentioned in an earlier post in this thread, who dares not directly address the fact that no better policy exists now, even with perfect knowledge of what happened than what the Trump Administration came up with. I suppose if I were a p*ss*, and felt my arguments could not stand up to a debate, I would hide behind an ignore as well.

At the end of the day, accusing Trump of Covid mismanagement while your guy has the benefit of multiple vaccines from day one of his Presidency, but is seeing a resurgence in Covid cases in spite of the flu season ending is counterproductive and the ultimate in hypocrisy.

I mostly compare Trump to the rest of the presidents in the world who didn't have the vaccine.Trump is dead last with his country having the most cases and the most deaths.

There is no excuse for The US to have the most covid cases and deaths. The US has the most cases and deaths because we had the worst leader, period.

  10. Again, without accounting for the differences among population groups between countries, drawing conclusions on particular statistics is misleading and unfair. At least the US per capita death rate was not the worst for developed countries. Further, many official causes of death attributed to Coronavirus are questionable because of massive drops of other causes of death such as heart attacks, cancer, etc. Remember all those defective tests that were pre-contaminated with Coronavirus? A lot of false positives early on. There was also the moral hazard of US hospitals receiving payments for Covid patients, most notably with certain treatment methods involving assisted breathing that in of themselves caused unnecessary deaths due to poor training, particularly in Democrat stronghold New York. By the way, how does New York’s case load and total Covid deaths compare to other US states? My hand is cupped over my ear waiting in an attempt to hear your response.

What I really would like to see is greater effort by each political persuasion to try to work together on our many common causes. Trump is done. Time for the Left to get over him and move on or risk arousing sympathy for him, which will be especially highlighted when your guy screws up, like all US President’s have done during their terms.

Joe is making some great moves, especially concerning economic and tax policy. Personally, I place the most weight on a President’s performance on the effectiveness of their economic policy because those who are looking to improve their lives will find it easier to accomplish it in a strong economy.

Lets all of us, regardless of political leanings, try to move on from Trump and try to work together. Including on social media.
