yeah, that would be logical so Donnie's gonna do a hard pass on not being in the spotlight. Elect a clown...circus
The problem is that he thinks he knows more than do the doctors. He thinks he knows more than generals when it comes to military matters. He thinks he knows more than anyone and everyone. So how could he possibly let someone else have the last word?
I'm familiar with this phenomena. I was an engineer and as a group we suffer the same affliction. We think we know everything. In my career I tried very hard to buck that notion and I never hesitated to say "I don't know" even in a job interview. But my doctor says I'm her worst patient ever because I tend to drill into things thinking I understand them. At some point I had to stop watching the briefings or rallys or whatever they were. You've got to have someone in your circle willing to tell you to stop and I'm not sure the WH staff is up to that.
The difference is that engineers, as a general rule, have curious minds. I don't think anyone has ever accused Trump of having one of those. He just knows everything as a matter of birthright. Were it not the case, then he would welcome opposing views and serious debate. However, he chose to surround himself with yes-men as far as the eye can see. And if anyone in his circle is not a yes-man, sooner or later he is hobbled in one way or another.
Agree 100%. When asked by the press to comment on something medical and scientific, I'd have graciously backed away from the mic and said "I'll let the experts answer that." Trump's job is to explain why he made decisions he did, and what evidence from what experts he used to support that decision making process. He should have clearly stated that he listened to both sides and chose a decision based on careful consideration of both sides. That is what a good leader does. Trump is not a good leader. This does not mean I don't think he has done some things right as President. But he is not a good leader. Many CEOs aren't. And I know plenty.
When he does appoint someone to a high staff position who is capable of delivering bad news or supplying useful counsel they generally run afoul of the rest of the staff and ultimately the President and get fired.
Which is also typical of working for a bad leader. A good leader picks a loyal team that understands the same goal in mind, even if they have different ideas on how to get there. Dissent on the team that is counter-productive to achieving this goal occurs because the bad leader lets it happen.
People these days are using kitchen scales and timers and they are serious. I haven't quite descended into that madness and instead use a precise matlab model (lol @ models) and measure out with a tablespoon. It models absorption pretty tightly. The problem is the density varies and at some point I will probably pick up a little scale. Probably I will write a few more lines to produce a nomegraph with ratios from 12 to 18, a family of curves. Obviously its starting to become challenging to fill my day at the moment lol. I've run out of larger projects and have turned to cooking and domestic stuff. What can I say. Using 16 ounces Water Equivalent to 2 cups Water Equivalent to 453.5923 grams Water Water to Coffee Ratio: 12.5:1 Requires 36.2874 grams Coffee Use 3.0239 level tablespoons Coffee Resultant Coffee 15.8498 ounces Resultant Coffee 1.9812 cups
Rarely, no matter how weird the item might sound, has Trump been far off of the mark. It would not surprise me in the least to see an expert or two come forward and say --yes, in the right dose disinfectant is something that may work-
