    Hilarious considering...

The information leak occurred as Hegseth's office had just announced a crackdown on leaks of sensitive information, including the potential use of polygraphs on defence personnel to determine how reporters have received information.

The leak that the idiot Hegseth was looking for and then putting the entire pentagon through a potential polygraph lie detector test...

The leak was actually Hegseth using the Signal app allowing others to invite an unauthorized journalist to the group meeting that Hegseth failed miserably to verify all participants had the proper security clearance.

Hey, if I knew enough to not send my spouse and I military records and my son's academic records/achievements on Signal app...I'm not dumb to invite someone I do not know to the communication sharing meeting.

Why couldn't the White House do the same for their national security communication exchanges especially after to global Forex Cartel Scandal that rocked Wall Street.

Hey, it could have been much worst, they could have been sharing "dick pics".

    :(

The amusing part is Drunk Pete vehemently denying that the Yemen war plans were leaked to a journalist after the White House already admitted the plans were leaked to a journalist.

Defense Secretary Hegseth denies responsibility for Signal security fail and insists ‘nobody was texting war plans’ despite White House confirming breach

I am glad this reporter did the honorable thing and did not publish this mistake....Back when America was great the reporter would have not exposed sensitive information

The NSC when they revealed the texts were legitimate complimented the Atlantic reporter for doing the right thing and not publishing the details of the attack plan.

Presumably so. Apparently today's hearing was prescheduled and the chat in question occurred 3/15.

    Timing is everything.

The hearings are not a search for truth. Political information warfare.

If Pete Hegseth can order or was going to order the entire Pentagon to take a polygraph to find out who is leaking national security information to the media & public...

Why can Congress not order Pete Hegseth (Defense Secretary), Gabbard (Director of National Intelligence), Ratcliffe (CIA Director) take the same polygraph to determine if they're the ones leaking national security to the media and public along with investigating what other communication apps have they been using ???

I'm now watching Congress grill these individuals. Strangely, Pete Hegseth is not there to answer congress questions when he's the one that leaked the info in a Signal communication app and would later deny it occur...

Yet, Hegseth said the journalist caters to hoaxes, lies et cetera but he can not explain why the journalist was is sitting in a parking lot of a grocery store reading/listening to War Plans by the United States because the journalist was "invited" to participate.

They also belittle our allies and world leaders in those "private conversations".

Now they're saying the information leaked on the Signal group chat was not confidential, not classified and contained no war information (e.g. location of targets, types of weapons to use in attacking the targets, time the attacks will occur, and our units (names) involved in the asymmetric attacks) during a time of conflict.

In contrast, the White House confirms the texts released by the journalist is a "partial list" and that it contained location of targets, types of weapons to use, time of attacks et cetera.

Congress has now asked if that's the case, they should then release the transcripts of the "entire conversation" for Congress to determine if it should have been "classified" information...they now seem hesitant to release the info to Congress.

They all now say they're "not aware" of the DOD policy to control unclassified and classified information for public release.

Further, these idiots can not determine if attacking another country or attacking militant groups with our Armed Forces...they can not answer if its classify or not classify. :D

I'm an ex-military officer (Captain) and my spouse an ex-military officer(she's a Major)...that's classify military tactics being discussed in a Signal group chat before the military strikes occurred.

Regardless, if it's not classified...why can they not release the text conversation in private to Congress???

Gabbard has now admitted journalist info is correct and acknowledge that he was invited while Ratcliffe is now stumbling on that if "its not classified" he can not be held to any liability for releasing any info that they have now stated was not classified. :D

Lets see if Trump has the journalist investigated and says he should be fired or arrested for releasing the United States War Plan that they say on one hand is not classified...that Hegseth states the journalist peddles in Hoaxes and Lies.

Trump has now framed this as a "glitch" and said Mike Walz has learned a lesson about how he communicates information about our national security.

Now every terrorist group in the world know what communication apps to hack because those in Trump's cabinet and J.D. Vance are using these tools to talk about the United States national security....

Worst one of the participants in the Signal group chat was actually in a meeting in Moscow in talks with Putin.

Colossal fuck up that puts our Armed Forces and Americans in the cross hair of our enemies. They now know everyone of Trump's cabinet and Vice President is on Signal...all day and night.

  10. Like I wrote in another thread last November when Pete's name was being floated, he is not qualified. Pete is not politically astute enough for the position and make no mistake, it's a political position. Generals are just political hacks in uniforms, the Pentagon is just another political wing and thinking some guy with limited combat experience will now run the show is absurd. It may sound good on FOX, but in reality it's a dumb idea. He liked chasing skirts and throwing back a few drinks. Yeah, he's just a regular guy. Regular guys get steamrolled by the political machine.
