Well I guess the Pub's should just flip em the finger from now on. That's the Democratic approach to Government.

Yes, the deficit was lower thanks to some smoke and mirror accounting and a big help from sequestration. That's why the national debt went down under his watch?

The fiscal year 2017 federal budget outlines U.S. government revenue and spending from October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. The Office of Management and Budget estimates revenue will be $3.460 trillion. That's less than the estimated $4.037 trillion in spending. That means a $577 billion budget deficit . Trump's plan sees a 2019 deficit of $984 billion, though White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney admits $1.2 trillion is more plausible after last week's congressional budget pact and $90 billion worth of disaster aid is tacked on. That would be more than double the 2019 deficit the administration promised last year.

Trump could do a sequestration deal too, like Obama did.He could also have not signed a multi trillion dollar tax cut and not increase defense spending like Obama did.

Without pulling out of the ME, we wouldn't have a military left under Obama's numbers.

    Obama really liked sequestration?

Regardless of your rant, Trumps tax cut has spurred business and will bring back millions from overseas. Let's give it some time to see what happens with the economy and if it can pay for itself. Future what ifs don't mean much today.

    And speaking of today....

Olympics are more enjoyable than these boards tonight.

Obama left military spending around the same as he got it,around 600 billion a year(Bush, from the party of fiscal responsibility, increased it from 300 billion a year to 600 billion a year).

On what planet is 600 billion a year not enough for a military? Thats more than the next 10-13 countries combined spend on their military's.Russia spends less than 100 billion a year on their military.

Its unbelievable republican politicians can convince republican voters that spending more than the next 10-13 countries combined is not enough for defense but they convinced y'all that they care about fiscal responsibility so it shouldn't be a surprise

The spending is rough but don’t forget the tax cuts are also blowing up the deficit.

Republicans are just being completely irresponsible with our nations’s finances.
