No he does not.They would have used the nuclear option for tax cuts for the rich just as they did for Gorsuch who will side with big business and the rich on The SC.They wont do it for the suckers who thought they were getting a wall though.
Well, difference being that Osama was in Afghanistan. I suppose we could not have hunted for the guy and taken the 911 loss. I'm not terribly familiar w/the nuclear option on this type of funding but they had no problem w/the tax cuts (something about it being budget & not needing it) or going nuclear w/SCOTUS. So in other words, the repubs could do it, but don't care to do so. And just so we're being clear, Illegal immigration and combating terrorism isn't even in the same universe of governmental priorities IMO. I could list 20 things of higher importance than immigration.
Why do 'we need' 10 Democrat votes when Mexico is paying for the wall? Why should Democrats vote for something that they oppose in return for nothing? But that ignores all the other lies as well. He couldn't get the bill passed in the House because not enough Republicans are in favor of it. And if it passed the House, they could have got the funding through with the budget bill which doesn't require a super majority. But sure, believe the biggest pathological liar known to man because he said so on twitter.
