If he caves here much of his voting base will be lost barring unforeseen events. Any advisor telling him to cave should be fired. They clearly are anti Trump or stupid. At the moment there is no downside for Trump to stand strong. This was his voting base's issue. The wall is a symbol for his MAGA. If he loses he will look like he was cucked by Democrats. Since Bannon left Trump has been getting very poor advice and getting the politics wrong on just about everything domestic save the Supreme Court. I remember many of us here and elsewhere warning that Trump was self impeaching. We told him he would lose the house if he did not get Obamacare done and a tax cut done for the voting base.
