It should matter to MAGA supporters who want his policies to stay in place.Since everything that MAGA supporters love that he is doing is being done be executive order Republicans need to win in 2028 to keep his polices in place.It will likely matter to House members who remember when he had negative approval ratings in 2018 and they lost 40 House seats.

Why don't you play the shorter game and see what happens in 2026 first? Because if you can't even develop a platform other than "Orange Man Bad" you're gonna get your ass kicked again in the mid terms.
