No. You have to keep testing the same people over and over. We need to be able to do tens of thousands of tests per day. Look at this failure:
footnote says "does not include state labs." Yet all the testing action or capability is set up at the state lab level now in the U.S. per CDC oversight and authorization. California for example says that as of the end of last week it had tested over five hundred in its state lab.
I see that Usual Tard is working a steady theme that there is nothing good going on anywhere, anytime in the U.S on this corona thing and we are all going to die and that even Bangladesh is ahead of us. Not necessarily so. His thinking and that of his ilk is based on their 2020 campaign needs. YOU WANT FRIES WITH THAT??? Seattle gets 1st drive-through virus test facility in U.S. https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/coronavirus-updates-cases-fears-deaths-us-latest-2020-03-10/
Whatever you say, bro. This is what we need though. Drive through testing, cost waivers for testing, testing first, second and third contacts, testing with every flu swab. Just non stop testing.
Something is better than nothing but 500 tests is nowhere near what California should be testing. Testing capacity should have been maxed out two weeks ago. We had 2 months to prepare for this. And I know the numbers are mind boggling but the goal is to control the spread, catch the infections early and not blow out hospital capacity.
'F' as in . . . . . . Failed White House press secretary screams at reporters to get out as Trump refuses to answer virus questions White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham on Tuesday raised her voice at reporters who were trying to ask questions of the President of the United States. Reporters invited in to the president’s meeting with insurance company CEOs hoped to ask him about the COVID-19 outbreak. Instead, members of the press were treated to a photo-op. “Let’s go!” Grisham repeatedly shouted as members of the press tried to ask questions of the president. “Press, let’s go!” In the end, no reporters were able to get a reply from the president before being forced to leave the White House Cabinet Room.
