If you fit the demographic then you are at high risk for having severe illness if you catch Covid. A simple, safe, effective vaccination can greatly reduce your risk. Leading to a probability of death that is over 20X less for those vaccinated and under age 60 according to many in-depth studies.

I will always look out for people's health by urging them to follow recommended public health measures to protect themselves from disease. Vaccination is the best way to preserve your health and avoid death.

  2. Please explain why anyone is prolonging the pandemic. Thank you.

  3. I already have done so in the past. Several times. The glamor of explaining it again has worn off.

  4. You don't have an answer. I doubt if being vaccinated has anything to do with how long the pandemic is going to last. Didn't Biden say the "pandemic" is over anyway? Yes he did. LOL

Biden stated the crisis emergency stage of the pandemic was over in terms of government responses. This is why the U.S. federal government is greatly scaling back financial support for Covid by January. Context matters.

Seeing that the majority of those hospitalized with Covid are unvaccinated. And of those under age 60 nearly 95% of the hospitalized are unvaccinated. Doesn't clogging up critical care resources extend the pandemic crisis? In fact all the social distancing measures were put in place to prevent medical facilities from getting overwhelmed early in the pandemic. It appears that unvaccinated Trumpers want to extend the pandemic by flooding our medical facilities with severely ill patients.

Also keep in mind that the new bivalent boosters appear to produce a strong immune response even after 3 months against Omicron which implies the bivalent booster is likely to also stop the spread of Omicron.

  6. Clogging up the hospitals is not prolonging the epidemic.

  7. One more thing. People who have been vaccinated are going around spreading the virus since they think they are invincible and are not wearing masks. Maybe they are the ones who are prolonging the endemic. I am using the word endemic now since good ol' Joe says we no longer have a pandemic.

You will find that most non-Trumpers are rational people who follow the public health guidance including wearing masks.

If you jog your memory -- all those anti-maskers were MAGA Trumpers -- even before a vaccine was available they freely ran around not wearing masks while screeching about their "freedum".

The key is that the vaccines are the exact same for all racial and political groups.

Yet, several ethnic groups are performing very well while one group is not performing well.
    • Why...considering it's the same damn vaccines ?
The why is explained in my prior messages...one group has made it too political and too racial at the worst time when borders are open again (people are traveling) and mandates have been removed.

Essentially the government has shown that we're now on our own and it's time for us to take responsibility and do what's best for us regardless of the consequences...as in no more hand-holding. We now have our Freedom back.

  10. Oh yeah, you are right. Those who were against the mask. I wasn't one of those so maybe that is why I don't remember it.
