  2. You mean the ones that correct their reporting the moment they see they weren't presenting an accurate story? As compared to...well, let's not go there, eh?

Regardless, the kids were still disrespectful, regardless of the sequence of events, and the students at that school apparently have a history of showing disrespect. Nothing new here.

  3. Here's the thing about this Phillips guy. He doesn't need to be making shit up or getting in some kids face for attention. Native Americans have been royally fucked by this government from the jump. The shit they have been forced to endure is inexcusable. The man has every right to be protesting and making a case, but there was no good reason to get in the faces of these kids. Doing so just diminishes his cause.

  5. That's the whole point. In a matter of an hour or two they could have fact checked this story BEFORE running with it. Why didn't they? Because their professional judgement is so clouded, so completely distorted by their political bias they simply can't employ the slightest journalist integrity. Trump is so evil that their immediate conclusion is that some white kids wearing a MAGA hat must be, have to be, cannot be anything other than a bunch of racist Nazis. I expect that from the twitter mob, but from people who are supposed to be professional journalists, the very people who we have given such extraordinary freedoms and liberties with the first amendment, those people need to get beyond their childish tantrums and do their f'n jobs in a manner expected from a professional.

  6. Again whether he was there is another issue but there were more than 50 military personnel in Vietname after 1973. US was still advising and running special ops to help SouthVietnam, they just withdraw most of the boots and equipment but remember those scenes of military scrambling to get out in addition to embassy personnel.

Look up U.S. soldiers dying in Vietnma between 73 and 75, it was a couple of hundred each year I think.

  7. I surprised by the numbers. I'm curious if these include the many civilian contractors which were there during 73-75.

The kids responded to the Black Hebrew Israelites, only after they were verbally assaulted by the group. Phillips and his small group then approached the kids. If his intent was to defuse the situation he should have approached the BHI group as they were the aggressor. But instead he chose the high school kids - with the MAGA hats. Can someone say "roll the camera".

As far as the interactions between Phillips and the Covington group, the kids did absolutely nothing wrong. And for the left to verbally trash these kids, even after the truth has come out, is shameful.
