yes we did - I explained why the cut is a good thing for the country as a whole, as multinational corporations have been moving profits away for years... and the increased trade deficit is a short term due to the 'forward buy'.

C'mon you actually want to praise the guy's foreign policy? I'll grant you he's been good for the stock market, even if this economy is built on swamp land. Hillary would've been good for the stock market. Sure to a lesser extent but on much more solid footing.

so there is no need for the analysis of fiscal/governmental policies, head wind vs. tail wind.. - CNN says Obama deserves the credit and that's a fact.

  5. Honestly anyone would have been good for stock market because the market was riding so much momentum and as long as they got out of the way as the economy will move the way it wants no matter what a president says and the stock market is really based on fantasy expectations anyway.

yes and no... I'd say 80% of the market run is easy money... but the market did get a boost from the tax cut as that is a direct plus to the bottom lines.

Being close to war with Iran and Iran restarting their nuclear program and kissing Lil Kims ass and begging him to be his friend is good foreign policy to a Trump supporter.

and we discussed that also... there will be a lag between the cut and the benefit of the cut... but the benefit is inevitable (already explained how corporations dodge higher tax countries).

the country as a whole does not 'lose' anything by the tax cut.. just more money into the private sector.

  10. Well i think it is more the perception of the tax cut because an AMZN shareholder did not get any direct benefit, people just believe the tax cut helps the bottom line and buy the stock up. It is artificial. If the economy was going really strong and taxes were raised, despite some initial volatility, the market would still march higher.
