Trump wishes alleged sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell well

  1. I wonder what DNA she is talking about?

If there is DNA on her dress say from his hand touching the dress or something similar that really only proves he was next to her.

If the DNA is from bodily fluids, it only proves they had sexual relations, not rape.

This is not a criminal case, it is a LAWSUIT. trump does not have to exonerate himself, she has to prove that she was raped....in a civil lawsuit case...

Most people don't understand the law but I am sure trump had sex with that woman but he is under no obligation to help her if she is accusing him of rape which cannot be proven or disproven after so many years. Given the propensity for jurors to be completely biased in this matter, i would not have any client aid in producing anything for something that could be 100% frivilous.

  2. If there is DNA from fluids, then he is done. If it was just sex and not rape, then he would have no reason to deny it.

My understanding is that Trump stated that he never had sex with her ("she's not my type"). If the DNA semen proves to be Trump's then this claims about never having sex with her are false -- and the likelihood of the rape claims holding up in civil court IMO go up.

    Frederick Foresight likes this.

  4. Ok, if there is DNA from fluids, that means he raped her?

I would love to hear this legal analysis....remember this is a civil lawsuit so not sure what "done" means.

  5. So you are making the good legal argument that trump should not help the person suing him in a civil trial that has no ability to compel him to turn over his DNA... got it.

He cannot be convicted of rape unless there is evidence of rape, not evidence of sex. In a civil suit, they are going to decide what?

At this point they can simply get DNA from a relative like Mary Trump to effectively prove their point. I am pretty sure in a civil trial involving rape -- the discovery process will require Donald Trump to provide his DNA. If he was innocent then he would be happy to do this to prove the claims are completely false.

  7. this is a defamation lawsuit, not a rape trial...

Discovery rules are quite different than a criminal trial.

We will see. At this point Mary Trump's DNA will prove the point.

  9. So if Mary trump gives DNA you are saying that proves that trump raped her? How much of a match do you think a niece has to her uncle in dna?

what happened to our court system if a relative can give DNA to prove someone else did something?

a lawyer can defeat that in about 1 hour I would say...

Close enough to prove the DNA came from a Trump. What the criteria for "proof" in a civil suit? I believe it is the "preponderance of the evidence".
