He should've disclosed it if there is really nothing to hide and it's all legit. I mean it is really odd that he would have a bank account in China while the Chinese president Xi has nothing in United States.

Has Xi been a real estate developer since 1971? I thought not.

The Trumps have been trying to develop real estate in China for decades now, so there is indeed a plausible commercial reason for the bank account. If you know anything about China, it’s not very practical to conduct business there (especially building hotels and golf courses) without a domestic bank account.

It’s totally understandable that trump have a business account in China and Russia. It makes sense that he would borrow money money from Russian banks after US banks realized he’s a fraud.

It’s not totally understandable that he not be forthcoming about his business dealings with foreign government that are autocratic and antagonistic with the US whilst he’s president of the United States.

I am shocked that patriots who want to drain the swamp don’t have a problem with this.

To be fair, building hotels in China and importing branded Chinese goods for resale is more entrepreneurial than sending your crackhead kid to collect bribes in the form of phony board remuneration fees and “loans” with no repayment terms.

And I do think that government business should NOT be conducted on Trump properties while he’s President.

And Jim Biden devoting a presentation slide to the positive business attributes for his sibling connection to his VP Brother while pitching a deal between the Chinese and Columbia is NOT acceptable.

You can’t call out one side and just ignore the other. Unless you’re the media of course.

Trump got 270mm of loans forgiven from likely Russian sources (assumed as most of their funding comes from Russians per junior and Eric).

Jim Biden’s behavior is not acceptable. Precedent, unfortunately, was set with the Kushner family pitching their connections for selling E5 visas.

this is the problem I have with trump. We are racing down the toilet of corruption.

Exactly what I was saying earlier. He can have foreign bank accounts but he should've disclosed it. Now that he's been exposed by others, he's put in a very awkward position and he's lost the ability to control the narrative whereas if he's come out and disclosed what he has in foreign countries, he would've been lot more in control in the impression that this information presents to the voters.

I agree. Even if we don't vote Trump in, Biden is not the alternative.

Well, to get back to the OP, I just don’t see Biden giving China a free pass. If he cancels economic tariffs he’s going to have to go for economic sanctions for human rights abuses and /or extra-judicial territorial claims.

If he gives China carte Blanche - he loses both houses in ‘22. Not to mention every Country in the Indo-Pacific not named China.

i would say the only good thing trump has done is highlight the new cold war that China had been waging for the last twenty years.
