Bannon is clearly trying to cover his ass as he sees the FBI closing in.
Assuming that is really a statement from Trump and not from some hotel room in Russia, then there can't be anymore emphatic evidence that "our President" needs to be immediately admitted to an institution, but what kind?: one for the mentally deranged, or one for criminals. He is either hopelessly out of touch with reality or a criminal who knows he is lying. In the words of Michael Bloomberg, "God Help Us!".

Today’s proof that irony is dead, Donald Trump says Steve Bannon has lost his mind.

this probably is in part a CYA but it is also
breaking with Trump as we see him selling out the base time after time.

I also dispute the fact that you all think most of us are pro Trump. Many of us were anti hillary and wish to see the swamp drained. most of us not happy with his is sell outs. And, many of us would be happy to see him challenged by a Rand Paul type.

And, if Bannon comes out and confirms this story and says its over with Trump because his is selling out the base, I don't see how Trump can get re elected.

But, also... I doubt this quote in the book is entirely accurate.
    would Bannon really say this..

" Any information, he said, could then be “dump[ed] … down to Breitbart or something like that, or maybe some other more legitimate publication”."

  6. Bannon is an unlikely hero for the country, but he just might be, especially if this leads to Trump being removed.

Denying reality. This is a classic case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

So the Pathological Liar is saying that all the people he hired are liars.

All of them. And Comey and everybody but him, even though he's a pathological liar.
