Trump to use the threat of nuclear weapons to stay in power?

So you now support the idea of a nuclear threat standoff if the military move to remove him and all he has left is the football on January 20th 2021. Or will it take a week for repetition of the idea to make it seem acceptable? Does Nixon hinting at it make it seem reasonable?

It seems this could be the new true alright @wildchild. As Facebook ban election disinformation groups, more extreme stuff is the result from the trolls. Or it actually is coming from Trump loyalists (same thing).

You better start getting used to it and figure out how you will say you support it to stay in team Trump.

  2. No sane person believes that he is going to launch a nuclear attack if he ceased to become the President. He told earlier that he will move out of the White House in January if Biden won the election.

He is doggedly sticking to refusal to admit Biden won. His followers are apparently talking about this as an option if he says he is the legitimate president, to them this seems necessary should he not have sufficient military forces backing him.

  6. No, his followers will not use this option. There will be a civil war from what I saw/read.

Is there any real difference? They may fail, if he imprisons Biden on inauguration day using the threat of his nuclear capability which he presumably has to hand over willingly, he can then root out those he is claiming are traitors and obtain confessions.

Secretary of Defence has just been removed.

No sane person thinks he is remaining in power beyond term one. No rational person thinks there was meaningful election fraud. No rational person ever thought Covid was a hoax or a political ploy. Yet here we are. Let us know when you are done with the bs.

The guy is running large multiple large indoor Christmas parties in full knowledge that even a smaller White House rose garden event spread the virus, he knows that some of these people will infect others who will die. He is playing favourites with who gets the monoclonal antibody treatment showing how loyalty is rewarded. Nobody thought a POTUS would do this, it is the beyond blatent disregard for life, just as all narcissist dictators possess.

If how he dealt with Michael Reinoehl is not a red flag to anyone who thinks for some reason he might not be a Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (had his own coup recently) or Marshal Bashar al-Assad of Syria (also surpressed a coup).. Well he is clearly happy to kill on his personal opinion somebody should be killed.

So..we know there is this nuke idea floating, let's do that in before thing. He is very proud of his mini battlefield nukes, ones he has commented that maybe the US could use. He may be blocked trying to launch on the USA but he presumably under his own authority and/or the secretary of Defence could get some of these from stores and have them with loyalists waiting for inauguration day. It's a maybe, goes part way to why Mark Esper had to be fired.

I personally see him more likely kidnapping and torturing for public "confessions" Biden and Harris plus their senior staff and of course the DNC "coup plotters" if he were to take that path. If he believes he is the president he is just protecting the nation etc. etc. If the president does it, it's legal etc. he argued just as Nixon did.

However he has had this thing about escalating way beyond what others thought possible so maybe this is not so far fetched.
