him selling vodka makes sense because you'd have to be drunk to partake in one of his investments.

The show had a pretty cool premise (IMO). Young, good looking people with plenty of energy and some business skills competed by launching mini-businesses for a few days. The losing team would meet with Trump (and two other people) to discuss what went wrong. Then Trump would pick somebody to send home.

The last contestant standing supposedly got a 100k a year job with Trump.

Unfortunately the show moved away from the interesting stuff (to me, anyway) like doing the startup, marketing, promotions, great ideas, etc. to much more about conflicts, arguing and obnoxious personalities. After four seasons, one could see Trumps true nature in the things he said and the decisions he made.

  8. Not sure if you ever watched the first season but it was loaded with drama, bickering and obnoxious personalities. Omarosa anyone?

I think the first season was great but at the end of it, the show was pretty much the same thing over and over. Every challenge was just sales & marketing and some event planning/executing. No real business startup or real brainwork involved.

By the way, the prize is just a public relations gig.

  9. This is normal procedure for Trump. His projects rarely can cover debt service, let alone pay themselves off.

His Condominium in Ft. Lauderdale has been at almost a standstill for most of the year. It's a joke cause you walk by, look at it and laugh at the fact that this project is an obvious failure.

He has got to be one of the greatest scam artists of all time. It's hard to fathom that there are still people with money who choose to invest with him.

I thought he had poor focus, shifting values and poor character assessment. I'm confident I would not wish to work in his orginzation, although the first two sidekicks he had were impressive (George and Carolyn).

Later he brought in his son and daughter which contributed to the shows decline in my eyes. I'd far rather have seen George and/or Carolyn run the show themselves without Trump!
