Obama himself didn't agree.... Didn't he reluctantly accept it and gave the credit to the administration? Good luck with Trump being that humble....
There is a disappointing amount of truth in what you posted. Russia has been working on trying to foment discord among the Western alliance of nations since at least 2009. Long before Trump decided to run. But as it turned out, their efforts were brilliant in design and realization. Kudos to Putin and his operatives. They have been magnificent in their achievements. Sadly, from my personal point of view, the results haven't been in democracy's favor.
That's besides the point at least for me. Perhaps Obama's attitude was as you described. I am not for nor against Obama. I try to judge a person's decision on issues. Good on him if he did what you described. It totally goes against the idea of the Nobel Price to be awarded for it before a award worthy achievement.
Jem, you at at heart a good man. I am pleased to see that you are recognizing that Trump is not what he pretends to be -- that he is not going to do for our country what we would hope he would do.
Well, to be fair, the United States has been interfering in foreign elections since 1947. In fact, the Obama Administration actively interfered in foreign elections - including funding opposition to Netanyahu's campaign in Israel. https://spectator.org/obamas-meddling-in-foreign-elections-six-examples/ http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-us-intervention-foreign-elections-20161213-story.html https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/17/...y-one-meddling-in-elections-we-do-it-too.html
Yes I do. The Marshal plan was only somewhat difficult to sell to the U.S. and it's allies. Nothing comparable to the diplomatic achievement of the Iran deal, and what is at stake -- Nuclear war. Diplomatically the Iran Deal was an Amazing achievement. Reagan Gorbachev INF, no comparison. I am speaking to the difficulty of getting an agreement. Tremendously difficult in the case of the Iran deal, and yet it was achieved.
This is absolutely true. Not only is the U.S. the most hypocritical nation, it is also by far the worst terrorist nation. The first step in regaining respect from other nations is to recognize its faults. The second step is to stop commiting the same crimes over and over..
When did Obama sell the deal to the United States since you are touting his selling it to other countries? It is just something that he did and specifically refused to call it a treaty because he knew that he could not get Senate approval for it. Yeh, nice sales job there President Dufus - what an achievement.
