So the Donald won't play unless everyone likes him? No hard questions for the Donald. Only friendly faces are allowed. Isn't this what "conservatives" are always bitching about with democrats and the love affair with MSNBC? Aren't the democratic candidates being ridiculed for only taking softball interviews? Can't have it both ways fella's. A man who can't stand up to his opposition and take the hard questions, fair or otherwise, is not fit to lead. A man who expects everyone to cater to his every whim does not have the temperament to make difficult decisions. The Donald cares about two things and only two things. His name brand and his bank account. He treats this like a game show, and perhaps that's all we deserve at this point given the stupidity of the voting public, but this takes us places that a great nation should not go.
Not sure why you've got such an axe to grind with Trump. He's probably had more media exposure then the bottom half of all the candidates combined. Not exactly shirking the limelight. It's more about publicity, showing his 'resolve', and some minor strategy, then anything else. Trumps got some major balls.
Media "exposure" where you control the stage and the production isn't the same thing as being vetted. I'm with the Captain. This behavior is petulant. I was starting to warm/thaw to the idea of Trump, but this is disappointing. Fox's statement on Trump's boycott was rather humorous. "We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president," Fox said in a tongue-in-cheek statement. "A nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings."
ha,ha, you are no better than the media who needs to hear logic and specific programs. Trumps ideas are not logical and can't be spoken. He already has controlled the message. Everybody now only talks about what he talks about. Now it's time to control the media. And that is what we want. We're tired of the media deciding who should be treated Presidential. Listening to critics of Trump is like listenening to atheists discuss the Bible. The "Wall" isn't a physical wall. China is not a real country. Muslims are not real people. For him to subject himself to a media that is lost in the past is purposeless. The more serious they take Trump the sillier they look. They just can't comprehend republicans are not serious. "How come when a democrat promises pie in the sky you always ask how much it will cost? And when The Donald makes unrealistic promises you just agree that it should be done?" They just don't get it.
That statement was issued before Trump withdrew from the debate. Trump toyed with the idea of not participating in the debate because Megan Kelly has repeatedly likened Trump as a sexist, woman hater. THEN, FOX released that statement, which openly mocked him. THEN Trump read that statement and withdrew. That's totally understandable, considering the circumstances. Each politician is looking for a fair shot at presenting themselves and their agenda to the voting public. While the network hosting the debate openly mocks and ridicules a candidate prior to the debate. What are the chances of that candidate enjoying 'fair and balanced' exposure by that network? Not sure why you think Trump controls the stage and production? He doesn't control the stage or production of any of his interviews. Print or TV? This is the first debate he boycotted. Who cares. Everyone knows where he stands by now. Polling 40% on Reuters and CNN/ORC.
sorry, I forgot you don't speak American, but I must confess I don't speak puncuation. In your box where you do all your thinking and posting, could you give me a hint what "?" means? If it means you don't understand, don't be ashamed. So if I am really pissed off which one do I use? ! or *?
none of them, but they can't be discussed in small minded normal debates. Talkers vs Doers. The media has set a bar for a candidate and that bar is they must speak in a language the media understands. And they just can't or won't or don't understand Trumpspeak.
