Here's what Paul Krugman said right after the election.
    https://www.nytimes.com/interactive...-night-2016/paul-krugman-the-economic-fallout

"It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?.....

... If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never....

...Under any circumstances, putting an irresponsible, ignorant man who takes his advice from all the wrong people in charge of the nation with the world’s most important economy would be very bad news. What makes it especially bad right now, however, is the fundamentally fragile state much of the world is still in, eight years after the great financial crisis.....

...So we are very probably looking at a global recession, with no end in sight...."

Ha ha ha. That's hilarious! Its going to be a mighty interesting experiment to see how well "business" does without a middle class ? The Third world nations haven't been able to pull it off, but, hey, there is always a first time for everything (maybe).

You mean the middle class that got decimated under Obama?

Liberals will never admit it but there is 2 places they can grab money from, its either the middle class or its businesses, you grab money from businesses you kill jobs, you tax the middle class you kill the middle class, Obamacare was one of the biggest transfers of wealth from the middle class in history. If you happened to fall over the line where you get subsidies, your premiums skyrocketed, and at the same time that happened, businesses just quit raising income because now they were getting hit with a gigantic new cost which simply got made up for by not raising income for 8 years.

You try to grab it from the people at the top who already have it and they just leave for for more favourable tax situations.

How are those H1B visas working out for the middle class? Oh but i guess im a white supremacist to point out a piece 60 minutes did over a year ago where tech companies are bringing in people to replace americans for half the wage, and then in the ultimate sick irony, they are forcing the american worker who is losing their job to train them.

How is that liberal idea working out for the middle class?

Why is it that we have had more rate increases under Trump than we did in 8 years under Obama? All the Q.E. everything the fed could do to pump money into the hands of banks, and it couldnt get the economy back off its feet, now the fed is finally talking about multiple rate increases, Obama had the slowest recovery from a recession in history, but yeah socialism rocks just look at how well venezuela is doing.

I can appreciate the fact that there probably isnt enough skilled laborers to do what you do, but the bottom line is that if wages got high enough people would go through the schooling just like medschool, this shit should be illegal, its pretty funny that the main company doing this was Disney a notoriously left wing company. Bottom line is these companies should only be allowed to do this in the case that they have to pay as much or more than the average wage of someone already living in the country, so its not beneficial to simply import somone who will work for a lower price.

If you look at it too this kind of shit is happening at places like McDonalds, you cant tell me that if McDonalds paid enough money they couldnt find people capable of doing that job, it exists for one reason and one reason only and its just to keep wages low, and "Spread the wealth."

Do you see this happening around you? Hopefully not man, this shit is just downright terrible.

Ha ha ha, That's right! Nothing Happened between March 2009 and Jan 2017, nothing at all. Ha ha ha hah.

Sadly the Republicans were not able to stop the Muslim, Kenyan, Reverend Wright Loving Juggernaut or we might have recovered from the deepest recession since the Great Depression in a few months! Damn those Democrats for Passing that Damn Financial Modernization Act over all those Republican objectors. Stand Tall Republicans, I say! Stick with Tradition, and work toward making the President a one-term President. Block hearings on Supreme Court nominees. You worked hard to get your man in Office, and now that he's there, stick with tradition I say. Go Republicans!

"Obama had the slowest recovery from a recession in history' ... Ha ha ha hah Ha. You're in rare form! You must have got your degree in , ahem, "Marketing," from Trump University. Ha ha ha.

Not sure where the Muslim Kenyan shit is coming from, i guess you think im a white supremacist now too, even though i have never said anything even remotely racist, wow people have really changed.

    Graham-Leach repeal happened under Clinton.

Also Look at the democrats response to the crisis, Dodd-Frank was one of the worst pieces of legislation in history, it put 90% of the prop shops in the U.S. out of business and it personally cost me 200k, all it did was deleverage small firms while doing nothing to break up the big banks, many of my friends went out of business thanks to that bill, unfortunately i decided to go offshore, and i got screwed, sorry if i dont find it very funny, but theres a bunch more middle class jobs.

I didnt work hard to get anyone in office, i said from day one i didnt think Trump would even get elected, but i sure think the coverage is over the top, but we will see, market is up 22% so far this year, when Trump got elected at the tail end of a 7 year bull market, Obama came in in a deep recession, compare Obama's numbers too Trumps, and when it is proven once again that pulling back regs and lowering taxes is better for the economy you will be forced to eat crow once again.

By Comparison, Reagan doubled Obama's jobs numbers and GDP growth, and he did it with 10% plus interest rates, and no tech bubble, but yeah keep telling yourself that higher regs and higher taxes is the ticket to prosperity it seems to be doing wonders for countries like Venezuela, watch what happens to the EU in the coming years with unlimited immigration.

Which way is the fastest growing economy (China) in the world is going? You think they are shifting more towards communism or more towards capitalism? Which way is the second fastest growing economy in the world (India) going? Are they shifting more towards capitalism or communism? Yeah left wing ideology is doing a bang up job, Venezuelans and Cubans are thriving!!!

Tell me something, just a quick hypothetical, If Obamacare gets repealed tomorrow, which way do you think the market goes, up or down? If tax reform gets passed which way do you think the market goes up or down?

If higher taxes and more regs are truly better for the economy then surely you must also believe that a lower stock market is the way to create jobs.... Left wing economics doesnt work.

I would actually support that, i think elections should be 6 month process both sides have an equal amount of money to spend and thats it, this whole process of the never ending election cycle is just ridiculous, especially with mid term elections, it almost guarantees that nothing ever gets done, there is always someone worried about their job.

Elections should be every 4 years and only ads allowed to be ran are 6 months out. It would fix alot of problems, it has just turned into a money making machine.
