Oh, I was well aware that Trudeau would not be prime minister any longer long before you. Thanks for the update though. GIGGLE!
The Scottish.....playing their part. Convicted U.S. felon to arrive in Scotland. says this Scottish newspaper headline President Donald Trump’s recent trip to Scotland was soured, according to Salon reporter Brian Karem, after he spotted a headline in a Scottish newspaper that dubbed him a “convicted U.S. felon.” Trump’s five-day trip saw the president meet with British and Scottish officials, though it also included several rounds of golf at two of his own golf courses, Trump Turnberry and Trump International Golf Links. Some critics labeled the trip as a $10 million taxpayer-funded advertisement for his more than a dozen golf resorts. Upon arriving, however, The National, a Scottish newspaper, ran the front-page headline: “Convicted U.S. felon to arrive in Scotland,” with the subheading: “Republican leader, who was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation, will visit golf courses.”
Trump fires the head of Labor stats because he does not like the numbers she didn't fake. https://abcnews.go.com/Business/hiring-expected-slowed-july/story?id=124238397 President Donald Trump fired the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday after a new jobs report showed a major slowdown of hiring in recent months. In a social media post, Trump volleyed sharp criticism and baseless accusations at Erika McEntarfer, a Biden appointee who was confirmed by the Senate in 2024. "I have directed my Team to fire this Biden Political Appointee, IMMEDIATELY," Trump said, after baselessly accusing McEntarfer of having "faked" statistics. McEntarfer has served in the federal government for 20 years, including positions at the U.S. Census Bureau, the Executive Office of the President, and the Department of Treasury, according to the BLS website. The U.S. added 73,000 jobs in July, according to data from the BLS. The figure marked a slowdown from 147,000 jobs added in the previous month. The unemployment rate ticked up to 4.2%, keeping it at near-historic lows. The report provided new estimates for two previous months, significantly dropping the government's estimate of jobs added in May and June. The fresh data indicated a notable slowdown in hiring as Trump's tariffs took hold over recent months. Trump criticized McEntarfer over the revisions, saying without evidence that the revisions suggested jobs statistics had been "manipulated." The BLS routinely revises estimates of jobs added in previous months. Raymond Robertson, professor of economics at Texas A&M University, voiced alarm about the firing. "This is disastrous," Robertson said. "To have a president who refuses to accept the numbers and then fire people because he doesn’t like the numbers...this is part of trying to bend the numbers to political will.”
Trump is about to crack (snap) when he saw the opening today to the stock market...he put the blame while under the illusion the jobs report statistics and revisions are "fake numbers" to make him look bad instead of putting the blame for today's stock market performance on his "Tariff Rhetoric" he hyped up about the Friday August 1st deadline... On top of the above, Trumps is still upset about the FED not lowering rates on Wednesday...leaving rates "unchanged". Market goes up...Trump's trade deals is hailed as a genius play by Trump...an example is that there was an interview this morning on Bloomberg with Peter Navarro who hyped up today's tariff Friday August 1st deadline and that its a "genius tactic" by Trump...Navarro then made the idiotic suggestion that maybe Trump deserves a Nobel Prize in Economics. Market goes down...Trump blames the prior Biden administration or any Democrat appointed by Biden. Good news - VIX is back above 20 but for the wrong reasons. wrbtrader
