The one good news about covid hitting the Administration where and when it did is that we might get 3 Republicans to drop dead or sufficiently sick to hold up Garrett's supreme court nomination . This would be a true sign of divine providence !

  3. There is much more to life than your pocketbook. Besides markets did fair too badly during the last two administrations. A decent human being should be leading the free world. Wall Street donations are saying the same thing. Think about the world you leave your kids and grandkids. Who are we better off long term.

betting on her immunity is like being short a putspread and hoping the stock falls below the long strike.

I think we've talked about something fishy about him being given an unapproved / experimental therapeutic antibody cocktail called Regeneron and not the other therapeutic drugs he's been touting.

Do you have a source about Trump owning stock in Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc (REGN). I discover last night from an article that he "had" prior ownership in some of these pharmaceutical stocks he's been touting on TV.

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/mone...ident-regeneron-gilead-remdesivir/3610111001/

According to a 2017 financial disclosure form filed with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics in June 2017, Trump had a capital gain of $50,001 to $100,000 for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and $100,001 to $1 million for Gilead Sciences Inc. The form notes the information was of April 15, 2017.

I wonder if that stock ownership was simply transferred to one of his children.

    Drain the Swamp :D

Fortunately most of them have to do disclosures as well because nepotism and them all now having gubmnt jobs. So it wouldn't be too hard to track down theirs to see if anything was transferred to them. Of course that all assumes that any of them are honest on the disclosures, not sure why they would be on that given their track record on everything else.

The only thing which is more to life than a pocket book is being a decent human being and doing good things to people. Why should Biden be considered a decent human being who does not even believe in the highest moral authority? Can a poor person make donations and help improve the world? Only hypocrites talk about better world while scoffing at money. What do you trade and make your share of money for? To become a decent person I guess. But there is a rub, the chances are you won't be "elite trader" any more under Biden administration.

I personally know three other active traders here at Elitetrader.com and we don't care too much about Biden but have a distaste for Trump because of his views towards the military and his poor Covid-19 response that has even flipped on him...putting his own life in jeopardy or of others in the White House or their family or anyone that may have an underlying medical condition.

My point...people are voting against Trump and not so much for Biden considering its extremely difficult to remove a sitting President even one that may have compromised America's national security.

The election process or two term limit is a sure way of removing a problematic sitting President. That's the rub.

  10. Bull to that. I'm not sure what moral authority you are talking about but I don't think the current occupant of the White House has shown to have any moral fiber. That's a big issue to me, guess it is not for you and for certain, making money does not make you a decent person.

Elite Trader - you've got to be kidding me. I'm not scoffing at money. I've done fine under numerous administrations and expect to do fine with the next. If I have to give a few percent more to have a competent government, well worth it to me.
