I served my country as an Officer in the U.S. Armed Forces and grew up in a military family...my father, grandfather both served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

My ex spouse is a West Point graduate and her family served in the French military. My teenager plans / hopes to enroll at West Point and serve the U.S. military instead of doing such here in Canada or France.

In a way, we have a full understanding of the welfare state via the military point of view in which we have no shame for serving honourably.

Military is a special arm of the govt and therefore it is socialized as such. Military is an exception which in no way can serve as a role model for the rest of the society.

    Wow.

I think many multi-generation military families will strongly disagree with the aspect of no way can serve as a role model for the rest of the society.

Thanks for confirming an underlying issue with how the military views Trump considering I think you'll ignore the military polls in the Militarytimes.

Back to the Covid-19 response...you're going to see whom at the White House becomes infected over the next 14 days, whom refuses to quarantine, whom still will not wear a face mask...

That ignorance will cost them the election if it hasn't already.

That tax if it occurs won't be anywhere near as meaningful as you think it will be and an elected Trump will do far worse on so many fronts your head will be spinning. You can't avoid higher taxes; bills have to be paid your social systems are going broke.

Wait, what? You think Trump is a Republican? You call Biden a socialist? You guys have absolutely no clue what these terms mean, except parrot Fox talking heads.
A good 1/3 of the Republican party and the American Chamber of Commerce have repudiated Trump for a reason; he at best is an oligarch, openly picking corporate winners and losers based on how they impact him directly. There's not an once of traditional Republican values in him, only cronyism, with the evangelicals, the white nationalists, even his role is used to fill the coffers of his various hotels, golf courses, etc. Yet you would prefer to elect that guy because he cuts you deals to make more money rather than consider a guy who spent his entire life in service of country whose goal is to reduce the stunning imbalance in wealth for the sake of a healthier, more prosperous America? Has your life been only about self serving goals?!?

  10. $750 in Fed Taxes is a fortune, right? Not even Mitt Romney got that kind of carry interest sweetheart rate.
