Speaking only for myself, I don't idolize Trump and I agree he is a dope. He's arrogant, unprofessional, a liar and flip flops. I'm sure there are at least another 10 traits I could point out that I dislike.

The problem is there is no good alternative. If you folks spent the same amount of effort trying to come up with an alternative for us to vote for instead of sowing hatred and spewing venom, you'd have come up with a solution at this point. Don't you get this? I'm a conservative and I'm willing to cross the aisle to vote for a candidate from your party if you could just fucking get someone who isn't insane and put them up for the election.

Instead, all you want to do is talk more about the guy who we can't change - the President who is here, at least, until the end of his first term. Stop giving the man a better chance at a second term by providing an alternative! Please!

This is not the first time Trump got burned showing his notes. And while it is embarrassing for him what it shows is he is just unable to learn from his mistakes.

    Alcaida, alpaca whatever.

  4. You can be a staunch Republican and hated Hilliary in 2016 and STILL find Trump to be a real idiot, flying by the seat of his pants surrounded by more swampy people.

But I am amazed at how many on the right defend him like a hero and overlook one fucktarded thing after another.....intelligent people thinking that way. They should all be speaking out and forcing him to change to lock up 2020 assuming the Dems ever get their diarrhea together. But they are ok with a clown....

The democrats are certainly capable of putting up their own loon but my advice to you is to look inward if you are conservative. Stop blaming Dems for the candidate they put up and start looking at the republicans for the candidate they put up.

  6. Well GOP is stuck with Trump as no one is going to challenge him (no balls on anyone).

Dems spending more time attacking Trump and focused on protecting illegals is a recipe for disaster illustrated by Hilliary so things look bleak that anything will change.

I'm not blaming either Democrats or Republicans for what is done. What is done, is done. Trump wasn't my favorite choice from the list, but between Hillary and Trump, my choice was clear.

My point here is that, if you don't want a repeat of this madness, stop pissing and moaning about the person we can all agree is a buffoon and get someone slated who isn't going to be even worse. Someone who we can feel better about voting for that isn't chanting about illegals and socialism and racism ....

Well your first fault was believing Trump would be a better choice than Hillary, especially if you care about things like immigration.

The democrats are having their own little internal struggle with wild left wing ideals but there is not one candidate in contention that will not be able to surround him or herself with qualified experts to help them run the government.

You guys all act like democrats will be able to pass Medicare for all or student loan relief or whatever just by electing a president but that is not how it works. The senate and the house have their say too.

The president is effectively a manager and good managers know to surround themselves with good people, which Trump simply cannot do and why our government is being run into the ground.

Whether you or anyone else wants to admit it DHS is a complete disaster with no one in a permanent leadership role and completely directionless.

Defense is on its 3rd acting secretary this year!

EPA, HHS and interior all left totally crippled and under clouds of corruption.

The only bright spot was transportation and now Chow is under her own investigation for corruption.

And let’s not get into the propaganda that comes out of treasury.

The whole government is in trouble under Trump and I haven’t even mentioned the DOJ.

Not surprising you think that way. See, I think you're way off base. If the election were held today, I'd vote Trump over Hillary. Despite all the warts.

    I don't believe that for a second.

No, we don't act like that. But if there is one victory I can be happy about with Trump it was the appointment of two SCOTUS. As I've said all along, that alone was worth the vote. But each President pushes the envelope further, and with the way some of those lunatics running for office are talking, there could be some serious envelope pushing coming with a new wacko administration.

They're in disarray, there's no question. But the propaganda coming out of the Treasury is nothing new and not limited to this administration.

A lot of Trump's issues are because of Trump. A lot of them are because the left can't leave the guy alone on bullshit that is made up and fantasy, like Russia, Russia, Russia. The left doesn't want him to govern, so they keep up the attacks. The guy can't get his footing.

We’ll see how you feel about your vote in the next 12 to 18 months.

As to SCOTUS appointments, you can thank Mitch McConnell for the one of them that actually matters because it’s really not about the picks. The truth is your argument would be better if you stated under Hillary the court would have went from conservative to liberal with the replacement of Scalia. Kennedy got his hand picked choice and probably would have gotten a similar choice under a Clinton presidency or just waited it out. There was nothing wrong with Kennedy.

You’re entitled to believe anything you want to believe but democrats are actually good at running the government and republicans are historically not as good. Trump is in a world of his own though and there only so long until we stop being effective at things like water testing and disease prevention. You’re already witnessing ICE crumbling before your eyes.

So, yes, any democrat of the 55 running will have a stronger bench of professionals and experts to pull from than Trump if not for any other reason people of good quality don’t want to serve under him.

Obama had recalcitrant republicans that tried to stymie him, republicans impeached Clinton, Trump isn’t being treated differently than other president with a divided government. You’ll get no concessions from me that Trump is being held up democrats. That’s just the way it is.

But you are right, Trump cannot get his footing and that’s due to his own ineptitude.
