Trump supporter calls Black high school kids "f*cking n*iggers"

  1. Which goes back to my original point. A lot of people use words like that, because they're taboo. It's despicable and insulting. You should never utter it. Wag the finger, shame on you. Well...that makes them fun to say! They also sound kind of funny phonetically.

Assuming you are correct. Here's what we have:

A man, mad that kids kneeled, decided to attack their race, "even though race had nothing to do with anything."

Do you see? He went to calling them fn's when, according to you, race had nothing to do with it. Why would he do that?

You still say that's not an example of racism?

If someone is on video or there are witnesses of a person assaulting a black person while calling them The N word while doing so they would certainly charged with a hate crime.

Call someone The N word on Twitter,Facebook, or even this forum and you would be banned for hate speech.

So, what you're really saying is that you use words like that?

  5. Well the recent history is why it's so taboo. If it were the Irish dance squad and he called them Mics nobody would give a shit. Which is why in it of itself, using the word within the context laid out isn't really racist. For something to be racist it has to express racial superiority or segregationist beliefs.

Didn't it fit the definition that was posted here?

Care to cite a source for your definition of racism?

  8. So someone like you can call me anything you want to here at ET, and it is not hate speech. Then what is that called?

  9. Well, it is okay to kill someone as long as you don't call them a name.

  10. Context matters. I'm a boundary pusher. It's uncomfortable to use those words seriously. They've become too humorized in my mind. Let's say I really hated this one black person and they had all the negative stereotypes of black people. I just can't use that word seriously, it would make me smirk. Don't get me wrong, it comes to my head, and it makes me think that word was designed specifically for that person. However, it's also become so taboo in society that I can't say it with anger. Old people shamelessly say it in anger. But I'm 31 and grew up in an upper middle class well educated area. I was raised not to do that. I don't know a single person my age who throws it around in a serious way.
