Yep... just an endless stream of lies spewing out of Trump's mouth. Read NPR's annotated fact check of President Trump's address to Congress NPR - https://tinyurl.com/3w2w5937
"Endless stream of lies". It's funny, because you have to go down 8 "fact checks" before you get to the first "fact check" where the NPR article actually calls out a "lie". Trump said the worst inflation in 48 years, and it was actually 40 years according to the NPR. Oh no! That changes everything! The prior 7 "fact checks" didn't show any lie, just elaborated on things Trump was talking about. Like the very first "fact check" where Trump says: "illegal border crossings last month were by far the lowest ever recorded ever." And NPR says: The agency has not reported the numbers for February, however Reuters reported last week that the administration is on track to report about 8,500 arrests at the U.S.-Mexico border for February. This could be the lowest number of crossings since Homeland Security started reporting the data in 2000. To NPCs, that's a lie. Then you've got to go down another 4 or 5 "fact checks" until you find where Trump claimed that more people believe the country is on the right track than wrong track, which NPR disagrees with based on the latest NPR poll where it's 54 to 45. Who knows if Trump is using another poll or if its indeed a bullshit statement (which he often makes). A few more down and they get to "Fact checking" this statement: "shocking levels of incompetence and probable fraud in the Social Security program" Since you can't really "fact check" a subjective statement, this is a waste of time. Then they go after Trump saying "We found hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud." by claiming that savings don't equal that amount, but he didn't say savings, he said fraud. And the hard part is calling something fraud, because clearly NPR thinks that some things Trump is calling Fraud aren't fraud at all. I would agree, they're not fraud, but they're waste. Trump likely equivilates spending wastefully as spending fraudulently, and he shouldn't. Still: TRUMP: "Just listen to some of the appalling waste...Millions [of] dollars for male circumcision in Mozambique." NPR's "fact check": In 2023, Megan Peck — from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Center for Global Health — wrote along with other experts that male circumcision programs are "a critical component to ending the AIDS epidemic." It has been shown to dramatically reduce the chance of transmitting HIV from a female to a male. "If a man is circumcised, it will reduce his chance of acquiring HIV by 60%," says Mary Mahy, the director for Data for Impact at the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS. The U.S. supported more than 10 million voluntary male circumcisions in eastern and southern Africa between 2010 and 2021. Who honestly gives a shit what Megan Peck's paper from the CDC said about spending this money in Africa? It's wasteful. If you can't afford to pay your rent, you don't go pay for someone else's car insurance. But this is the kind of "fact checking" that NPR, and GWB_NPC calls "lies". Keep calling out Trump on technicalities and being overly pedantic toward him. You'll lose the next election as well, and spend 8 years of your life weeping and gnashing your teeth (you're already in for 4).

Trump loves the uneducated, eh? Of course, Trump is lying again. The "U.S. News and World Report ranking places the U.S. 12th overall among developed nations in education, ahead of France, Belgium, South Korea, Austria and New Zealand, to name a few." Trump Slams U.S., Claims His Country Has "Worst Education In The World" https://www.msn.com/en-ie/news/poli...-has-worst-education-in-the-world/ar-AA1Az86G Addressing the uncertain future of the U.S. Department of Education — long in the crosshairs of MAGA and a specific target for abolition in the Heritage Foundation’s controversial Project 2025 document — President Donald Trump claimed that the United States has “the worst education in the world.” In an exclusive interview with Fox News star Maria Bartiromo, Trump did not stop at castigating the U.S. Department of Education, but expanded his criticism to include all of American education in general. Asserting that his administration wants “to bring the schools back to the states,” Trump said, without citing evidence that “literally we have the worst education department and education in the world. We’re ranked at the bottom of the list and yet we’re number one when it comes to cost per pupil.” It is not a new assertion for the President, who claimed in February that America is “dead last” in education. Using his rhetoric to assert claims that don’t stand up to scrutiny — the U.S. is not “last” in education — strategically paves the way for drastic measures that might not be seen favorably if they weren’t done to reverse such allegedly dire circumstances. Note: Metrics used to measure education can be subjective, but a respected U.S. News and World Report ranking places the U.S. 12th overall among developed nations in education, ahead of France, Belgium, South Korea, Austria and New Zealand, to name a few. The survey also ranks the U.S. — which Trump continually depicts as a “failing country” — as the #3 “best overall” country.] Some Trump critics — believing the reasons for Trump’s Education Department antipathy are disingenuous — are responding by quoting his own 2016 GOP primary victory speech Nevada, in which candidate Trump famously told the crowd he loved “the poorly educated.” Trump said: “We won the evangelicals. We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.” NOTE: A FindLaw study on federal/state education cooperation explains: “The state government manages the day-to-day operations, while the federal government provides support through funding, national programs, and policy recommendations. The states also control curriculum standards and teacher certification, while federal authorities oversee educational emergencies and offer financial assistance to school districts.” A 2018 report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office found that the federal support totals between 6 and 13% of education budgets in states.
Trump Blasted After Military Scrubs WWII Navajo Code Talkers From Websites Due To 'DEI' The Department of Defense and the U.S. Army have sparked outrage after they removed materials from their websites about the World War II Navajo Code Talkers, citing Trump's DEI policies. https://www.comicsands.com/navajo-code-talkers-dei The Department of Defense and the U.S. Army have been widely criticized after they removed materials from their websites about the World War II Navajo Code Talkers, who from 1942 to 1945 played a crucial role in every major Marine Corps operation in the Pacific, using their unbreakable code to secure communications. News outlets found that at least 10 articles about the Code Talkers had vanished from the U.S. Army and Department of Defense websites as of Monday. The Defense Department’s URLs had been modified to include the letters "DEI," indicating they may have been removed following President Trump’s executive order dismantling federal diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Archived versions from the Internet Archive show the deleted Army pages were accessible as recently as November, with many still available until February or March. None displayed error messages until after Trump took office. When asked about the missing pages, Pentagon Press Secretary John Ullyot responded in a statement: "As Secretary [Pete] Hegseth has said, DEI is dead at the Defense Department. ... We are pleased by the rapid compliance across the Department with the directive removing DEI content from all platforms."" In the rare cases that content is removed that is out of the clearly outlined scope of the directive, we instruct components accordingly." Ullyot's response indicates the Trump administration's willingness to rewrite history amid a purge of content and programs that promote, per the administration, principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion. The Navajo Code Talkers have long been recognized as heroes of World War II, with over 400 young Navajo men enlisting in the U.S. Marines to develop an unbreakable code based on their language. Many even lied about their age to serve a country that had granted them citizenship only two decades earlier. This encrypted code, never cracked by the enemy, was vital to the United States' success in the Pacific from 1942 to 1945. Historians argue that the Code Talkers helped hasten the war’s end and, without a doubt, saved thousands of lives. Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren said he was assured that information about the Code Talkers would be restored. Defense officials explained that the material was removed as part of an automated content review. In a letter to the Defense Department, Nygren emphasized that the Code Talkers were “profoundly significant” to the Navajo Nation and had made immensely valuable contributions to U.S. military efforts during World War II. Deb Haaland, the first Native American to serve as Interior Secretary, condemned the purge. Many agreed with Haaland, highlighting the historical significance and contributions of the code talkers. Apparently this is one of the things Trump learned from Putin when he was studying how to be a dictator.
The fact that we have no evidence that someone is a criminal just proves they're good at hiding their crimes. That's quite the talking point. Well, in that case... just because we haven't found evidence of more felonies against Trump simply means he's good at hiding his times. Trump Admin Unveils New Legal Standard: ‘We Have No Proof, Which Actually Proves Our Case’ Many deportees lacked any evidence of criminality, but the government argues that really makes them MORE criminals. https://abovethelaw.com/2025/03/tru...have-no-proof-which-actually-proves-our-case/
