Trump blames the plane crash on... *** spins wheel *** "DEI at the FAA" Trump attacks DEI policies after DC plane crash, says FAA employees must be held to 'highest standards' Trump claims President Joe Biden lowered standards for air traffic controllers https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tr...-faa-employees-must-be-held-highest-standards
Hey, remember that time the GOP shot down safety improvements at DCA because *gasp* a Democratic transportation secretary has the gall to ask for them? Maybe we should remind everyone that the GOP shot it down and they have blood on their hands.
I don't know much about this subject but it looks like your post is a big pile of steamy bullshit. @gwb-trading - Stop shoveling misinformation. https://www.faa.gov/about/reauthorization FAA Reauthorization The FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 (Public Law 118-63) was signed into law on May 16, 2024. This authorization runs through Fiscal Year 2028 and communicates congressional priorities for how the agency carries out its mission to provide the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world. This legislation is broad and speaks to everything from FAA’s organizational structure, ways to bolster many of the agency’s oversight processes, and where to invest resources to support safety and efficiency for both conventional users and new entrants. Much of this legislation aligns with the agency’s existing priorities and approaches but tells us where Congress is most interested in seeing adjustments to resources and timelines for various activities. The FAA believes this Act supports the needs of the aviation ecosystem and will help advance aviation into the future. The FAA is committed to implementing the requirements in the Act as efficiently as possible. https://www.protectregionalairports...ement-on-passage-of-faa-reauthorization-bill/ CPARA Statement on Passage of FAA Reauthorization Bill “The Coalition to Protect America’s Regional Airports and our 150+ members nationwide appreciate the tireless efforts to rein back a sustained, misguided campaign to add 56 new daily flights to an already overburdened, at-capacity Reagan National Airport (DCA). We would like to especially thank Senators Kaine, Warner, Cardin, Van Hollen, Duckworth and Tillis for their relentless commitment to prioritize safety and follow the facts in their efforts to ensure that the FAA reauthorization bill did not lead to a dramatically worse passenger experience at DCA. The ten additional daily DCA flights included in the final bill will undoubtedly lead to further delays, cancellations and congestion on America’s busiest runway, but it is thanks to their efforts that the outcome was not worse. We are disappointed their amendment to strip the new flights was never allowed to come up for a vote in the Senate, unlike in the House, where a bipartisan majority rejected an amendment that would have increased the number of DCA flights.” – CPARA
So -- what you provided demonstrate that the safety measures asked for by Pete Buttigieg were not put in place. Only a watered-down authorization bill was passed. Thanks for demonstrating the exact point.
trumps new boy hesgeth will make sure the fucktarded pilots at the army avoid being blamed.. a commercial airplane is on a scheduled flight path to land at DCA and in the correct airspace. An army helo on a training mission is not a regular flight path and is also in restricted airspace and the burden is on the helicopter which can turn, drop or lift in tight distances, to avoid the impact. The heli fucked up big time so do not let the DoD cover this up....this was their fault.
Of course, the crap you post is from Russian propaganda outlet Zero Hedge. Let's see what Trump was spewing out of this mouth today. Every day when you think that Trump cannot get more batshiat insane, he exceeds expectations for derangement.
