Oh B1 ... how can you claim to be pro-American yet support this President who is doing his damnedest to be the first American Dictator? I am not a Democrat ... lifelong Republican, in fact. Trump is no Republican, and he is not even pro-Constitutional democracy. His fireworks show was part his would-be strongman authoritarianism and part his desire to be John Gotti - the kid from Queens who really made it in New York in Trump’s mind. It makes sense, of course, that Gotti was an inept a boss as Trump is ... at everything.
Interesting CNN reported tonight Trump’s approval rating hit a all-time new high recently. I am a long term registered Democrat who has participated in anti-war protests and petition signature gathering for Leftist causes. Yet I support Trump. Strongly. The Democratic Party has moved too far Left, become corrupt, and no longer truly embraces civil rights. This is, civil rights for all US citizens. Congressional approval ratings below 20% and a general feeling special interests are favored over voter’s interests does not help either. Both political parties play the blame game while they take turns whittling away our civil rights. We all hunger for representation by our politicians, right? Every one on the planet, except maybe one person, knows Trump has his issues. At least what comes out of his mouth sounds like it is in our best interests. This is better than Democrats trying to convince us to go along with their crazy ideas that make no rational sense. Some of these Democratic ideas have already been soundly rejected in other countries in some cases. It seems to me there may be some hope for us based on recent events. The news media in general seems to be improving their quality of their reporting, even allowing opposing point of views to get a word in edgewise, from time to time. It appears Nancy agreed on a Trump priority and Trump agreed on a Democratic priority. Regular citizens benefitted, even if not US citizens benefitting directly, through this uncharacteristic cooperation between the powerful leaders. Bravo! This may finally be a start of our Government functioning to the benefit of our country. Hopefully we see more cooperation between our political leaders and start getting things done before we are left behind by our more focused competitors. Further progress in news media reporting will go a long way in restoring the confidence of the American people in our political system, to the benefit of both long established political parties. Democrats, Liberals, Republicans, Conservatives, and Independents generally have the same basic beliefs: We care for our children, we care about ethics, and we care about our economy. There are different views on how best to achieve some of our common goals, but let us debate over those things rather than making up a false crisis and blaming the other side, for example.
The dictator was Barack Millhouse Benito Hussein Obama. ---He had a phone and a pen. Mr Trump is strongly pro-American and is reversing the lawlessness of the Hussein administration.
