An interesting aspect of Tesla’s slump is that Musk used Tesla shares as collateral to purchase Twitter. The calculations of what share price would require Musk to provide additional collateral is up for speculation and debate.

However, Musk’s alignment with MAGA might be the inflection point and peak Elon’s IRL ‘Tony Stark’ Mythos

Isn't it amazing? All of a sudden global warming (the sweetheart argument of liberals..dems..) is over! "We ain't buying any Tesla's." Tesla Owners Are Rushing to Sell Their Cars

Just goes to show their REAL ideology is all about money, politics, power, and this "green" BS is really not what they worry about.

PS I still drive fossil fuel truck (8 cyc) and a BIG Diesel Motorhome and if I live to be 100 and am able I will still be driving fossil fuel vehicles. Why are all you liberals..dems..and Germans refusing Tesla now? It seems true colors are coming out and it just shows many didn't buy a Tesla because of global warming concerns. Suddenly they seem to have forgotten global warming.

They no longer like Elon because he associates with Trump whom they hate. True colors ...yes true colors..out in the open.

No wonder Tesla stock price didn't go up as President Trump just bought a Tesla car.

Kings/Sultans/emperors/billionaires have been known to buy hundreds of expensive cars.

Time for Elon and Trump to buy hundreds of Tesla cars.

  5. There are no other EV makers consumers can choose from? Is that called a False-equivalency, Red Herring or Straw-man? Which one of the fallacies were you testing us on?

    Overview AI

The straw man fallacy involves misrepresenting or exaggerating an opponent's argument to make it easier to attack, essentially refuting a distorted version of the original position instead of the actual argument

Here are some examples of the straw man fallacy:
    • Example 1:
      • Person A: "I think we should consider implementing a new recycling program."
      • Person B: "So, you're saying we should just throw all our trash away and not worry about the environment at all?" (Person B has misrepresented Person A's argument by exaggerating it)
    • Example 2:
      • Person A: "I think we should have a little more flexibility in our work hours."
      • Person B: "So, you're saying we should just let everyone work whenever they want and not have any structure at all?" (Person B has misrepresented Person A's argument by exaggerating it)
    • Example 3:
      • Person A: "I think we should have a little more funding for education."
      • Person B: "So, you're saying we should just throw money at the problem and not worry about accountability?" (Person B has misrepresented Person A's argument by exaggerating it)”

Nothing false about it. More made of stuff. The real position: "They loved Elon. They were infatuated with him. They loved his Teslas. They loved his science and advancement. They loved his stock. They professed to be "green"

Now since he aligned with Trump and intends to cut out government waste, they hate him, they hate his business, they hate his stock.

THEIR TRUE COLORS HAVE POPPED UP.

So, let them run far away from Tesla. Buy their EV's somewhere else. Who cares? I don't. I will be running fossil fuels. Do any of them ever think of the plastics in all those EV's where does it come from? Batteries? Rubber tires?

I am NOT an EV fan. However, I recognize the intelligence of Elon. He is certainly smarter than anyone on ET. He is a genius.

One can be green and anti-fascist and pro-truth. They are not mutually exclusive.

The true colors you are referring to are Musk and Trump’s

Pro-Trump devotees demonstrate the characteristic of demoralization, the 1st step in mass brainwashing:

    • In what is perhaps a most striking passage in the interview, here’s how Bezmenov described the state of a “demoralized” person:
    • “As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore,” said Bezmenov. “A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures; even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him [a] concentration camp, he will refuse to believe it, until he [receives] a kick in his fan-bottom. When a military boot crashes his balls then he will understand. But not before that. That’s the [tragedy] of the situation of demoralization.”

    • It’s hard not to see in that the state of many modern Americans. We have become a society of polarized tribes, with some people flat out rejecting facts in favor of narratives and opinions.

  8. I think Elon is/was one of the greatest businessmen men and hit King Solomon’s wall. Elon is the richest man in World by his own merit and he seems bored. Maybe everything feels meaningless and empty inside? People don’t take Ketamine because they’re happy at his level in life. King Solomon self destructed according to tradition insulated by bad advisors.

    Ecl 1:2
    Everything Is Meaningless

2“Everything is meaningless,” says the Teacher, “completely meaningless!”

3What do people get for all their hard work under the sun? 4Generations come and generations go, but the earth never changes. 5The sun rises and the sun sets, then hurries around to rise again. 6The wind blows south, and then turns north. Around and around it goes, blowing in circles. 7Rivers run into the sea, but the sea is never full. Then the water returns again to the rivers and flows out again to the sea. 8Everything is wearisome beyond description. No matter how much we see, we are never satisfied. No matter how much we hear, we are not content.

9History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new. 10Sometimes people say, “Here is something new!” But actually it is old; nothing is ever truly new. 11We don’t remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now.

The Teacher Speaks: The Futility of Wisdom

12I, the Teacher, was king of Israel, and I lived in Jerusalem. 13I devoted myself to search for understanding and to explore by wisdom everything being done under heaven. I soon discovered that God has dealt a tragic existence to the human race. 14I observed everything going on under the sun, and really, it is all meaningless—like chasing the wind.

15What is wrong cannot be made right.

What is missing cannot be recovered.

16I said to myself, “Look, I am wiser than any of the kings who ruled in Jerusalem before me. I have greater wisdom and knowledge than any of them.” 17So I set out to learn everything from wisdom to madness and folly. But I learned firsthand that pursuing all this is like chasing the wind.

John Lilly, the scientist who pioneered communication with dolphins and created the Sensory Deprivation Tank was a heavy Ketamine user. It’s reported that a lifetime of use left him “a hollow of a man”.

The movie “Altered States” with John Hurt was a loose biography of him.

interesting about King Solomon. He also messed with demons so there’s that.

    Edited:

I wanted to add I had a girlfriend who wanted to try meds to stop her racing thoughts. After a couple of months she moved out and she never dated anyone again. We still were super close friends, we fished, hunted and off road racing. She lost interest in everything, no joy or feelings(Dead inside to quote her). I don’t know what was better, with her racing thoughts she had periods of joy and felt loved.
