  2. TRUMP: When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're sending people that have lots of problems. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists, and some, I assume, are good people.

The problem is he used too broad a brush with these statements and now the left is skewering him with their own broad brush. The Donald needs to learn a little nuance.

Change his statement to this. They're brining in drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. Most illegals don't fall into these categories, but far too many violent criminals are crossing the border and they're staying here.
Does the left still go haywire? Of course they do, but he only would have given them a single shot pistol instead of a machine gun.

  3. Since immigration is the mainstay issue with Trump give him a test run by making him acting Governor of Texas. That way Perry could also benefit with the head start of brushing up on his campaign lines.

    : )

I've read that the cost to staff, operate, and maintain a wall along the Mexican border would be $29 billion per year (not sure if that includes payment on construction bonds or not). So is that cost worth stopping (those illegals who don't switch to a marine lane of entry) a few rapes and murders per year?

  6. Under Obama, deportations and border staffing has never been higher.

That being said....seeing a Latin Kings gang tag on a tree in the woods near me was worrisome.
They all need to be rounded up and sent back. We need a wall. With guards and death zones.

Holy crap, I'm now a righty!!!

  7. Trump takes another hit. They're running for cover across the board. Not many with the guts to say, hey, Trump was more than a little rough around the edges on this issue, but none the less, we have a serious problem with this illegal immigration issue and someone needs to address it head on. Cowards.

Trump's office announced Tuesday that he and the PGA of America agreed not to conduct the coming Grand Slam of Golf at the Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles. The tournament pits the winners of the year's four major golf championships against one another.

The Republican candidate's statement said the decision was due to the ongoing controversy over his harsh rhetoric against illegal immigration.

"Due to the controversy surrounding statements made by Mr. Trump having to do with illegal immigrants pouring into the United States from Mexico and other parts of the world, Mr. Trump does not want his friends at the PGA of America to suffer any consequences or backlash with respect to the Grand Slam of Golf," Trump's office said.
