lots of links there, lots of garbage. this is why climate is used to do the money grab, because it's an area little understood by science. let me ask you these questions - how thick is the earth atmosphere? how thick is the layer of CO2 if all the CO2 were in a pure sphere? how thick is the layer of man-made CO2? if you don't want to look them up I can give answers... and apply a little common sense you can see thru the brain washing... actually, before you look them up, make a wild guess first, then compare to the actual data. besides the common sense... follow the money? what is truly behind this scam? Federal dollars for 'green energy'... cap n trade, carbon taxes.... yeah that's how Al made off with the $300m.
Well, we've determined that you do not read. Climate science apparently is an area little understood by you as you promote conspiracy theories. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_dioxide_in_Earth's_atmosphere I have no idea what you questions are pointing to. The science is clear. Any obfuscation on your part is not backed by peer-review references. It's similar to trump's habit of calling unfavorable news as fake news. It'll be great if the climate change deniers went and played with fire on their own flat earth. It's common sense that since the horizon is flat, the earth must be flat. There's the source of the money grab, all those brainwashed into thinking that the earth is spherical and revolves around the sun. Come'on, anybody can look up at the sky and with common sense see that the sun revolves around the earth!
ok, let's hold off the garbage call for a minute.... one's garbage is another's treasure. 'science is clear' - that's Al's favorite phrase. peer review - I am doing that now with my questions, so don't run away yet.... I have a PhD and know a little about science. do you not understand the questions? and others are welcome to join.... too many have been brain washed.... it's not a hard question... for Al to yell the sky is falling (or burning?) - how much man made CO2 are we talking about here... let's put it in perspective and see if common sense can prevail.
Anybody can have an opinion, some opinions have more weight that others. https://climate.nasa.gov/scientific-consensus/
walking into the sunset there.... that's cool. I didn't have to convince you.. was using this as a lead in, so more people can see the truth... traders are not stupid people. nasa, EPA.. organizations facing major funding crisis if they are not going to save the earth. other than Al's $300m con take, most 'scientists' on the alarm camp are funded, most 'doubters' do research on their own dime... follow the money, everything becomes crystal clear. 'the science is settled'... or is it still subject to peer review? Al doesn't think the latter is necessary (or allowed?) Now here is what it leads into.. most people can't perceive PPMs.. so put it this way. the atmosphere is 300km thick, but most of it is within 10 miles, or 16kms.. CO2 is a green house gas, so how thick is this green house film? 10miles * 400ppm = 6.4 meters.... human contribution is about 1% - so it's 6.4 centimeters.... so all the human activities so far, has created a 2-inch thick CO2 film around the earth.. and that's 2 inches half way up the 10 miles.. at sea level it becomes 1 inch... now let's talk about Paris - even if all the countries do everything they promised, what is the delta to this 2 inch film, in 100 years? a few millimeters. and when I say 'big fire ball in the sky'... I mean it's big. https://didyouknow.org/the-size-of-the-sun-in-comparison/ and it's not only the visible big, the solar magnet activities affects everything on earth, including skin cancer rate... and for those who don't know yet, we are entering a solar minimum and it's very important to wear sun screen as the weaker magnetic field is allowing more cosmic rays to hit earth.. so there you have it... the big fireball, or the 2-inch film... can common sense prevail now? traders are not stupid people. yeah it feels terrible to realize that you have been con'ed for so long.... but re-education is like detox... better late than never.
The appeal to common sense https://scienceornot.net/2014/02/06/the-appeal-to-common-sense-garbage-in-the-guise-of-gumption/ The reasoning that proves what's more likely true has already been provided in the previous posted links backed with scientific evidence. It's also a bit more through than your napkin calculations. Believe whatever you want, but it's not the consensus. What we don't know is far larger than what we know.
yes it is painful to realize one has been con'ed. again I don't have to convince you... traders are not stupid people, they can now make an educated choice between the fireball and the 2-inch film. 'consensus' - that's euphemism for 'we have no clue' so if you defy common sense and play the card 'there is too much we don't know', that's fine, then Paris was meaningless to start with.
I see you throughly enjoy patronizing folks. Your blindspot is that common sense falls completely within the limits of one's own personal experience. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/...1107/common-sense-is-neither-common-nor-sense Thank you for demonstrating.
people use common sense all the time. personal experience is a limiting factor, so what business does Al have in arguing climate science? but that's not the true intent... the effects of a 2 inch film can be measurable, so is that of the solar activities... but weather is one of these things with 2 many variables, so a lot of it is unproven, therefore a perfect vehicle for brain washing, and global power grab. not patronizing.. half of Americans don't have $500... and since net worth is correlated with intelligence, it's safe to assume traders are not stupid... that is common sense too. 'science is clear', yet the first moment we touch any details, you went off course... not saying you are a hater, but that's what the hater camp has - nothing. and how is trading by the way - how do you achieve harmony with the market when based on your personal experience, this president is ruining it?
