If Trump wants to know the results of isolation he should study history. It has all happened before. The Tokugawa family ruled Japan when the European missionaries and traders started arriving. The Shogun ( leader ) was so horrified and scared by the arrival of more advanced civilizations he closed Japan to them. It remained isolated for about 200 years before Admiral Perry, an American, forced them to open up ! They were about 200 years in a time warp and had not progressed at all. The same rules apply.
still not getting it... the goal is fair trade, not isolation... but to get there we need them to cry uncle first.. this thread is very long now... but what is the one thing that knows the truth? read them charts and market has the answer.
No one is complaining about fair trade. Personally I can't be bothered to wade through the piles of treaties. But if what he says is true and not much is, how on earth could the negotiators have made so many blunders ? I think he may be looking at net balances of trade between countries. Now that is something very different.
what blunders - nobody said there would be no short term pain... and nobody is perfect of course in executing such complex negotiations. again - I'd just wade thru all the noise... to me life is much simpler if I just look at charts everyday... SPY, QQQ, IWM, EWG, ASHR, EEM.... I don't read the news and I don't know and care about 'blunders'.
If you cannot watch further then your nose, it will be your only option. But when you will hit your nose the damage is already done as it hit your nose. Charts only show show past and present, not future.
After seeing this I understand how Trump became president. PS: how much is 16*7? LOL. PPS: This video was made by an American, not by me.
