major movements from the China end with several markets opened up in the past few days.... business is business.

99.9% of the naysayers don't have nearly enough biz experience to comment on Trump's policies... they only get narratives fed from the MSM trump hating media.

From the website of Boeing: "Around the world, Boeing is developing partnerships that benefit its customers and business partners as well as local economies. As a result, the company is strengthened by growing sales and by tapping the best technologies the world has to offer. International sales are driving company revenues with more than 70 percent of total backlog represented by international customers. Approximately 70 percent of Boeing Commercial Airplanes' revenue historically comes from customers from outside the United States, including many from emerging markets. International sales are rapidly increasing as a portion of Boeing Defense, Space & Security's total revenue."

I start to understand Trump. Let's say the trade war escalates and Boeing is replaced by Airbus outside of the US. Boeing would lose 70% of his sales. The people that would get unemployed, which are in general highly trained and highly paid, will then get a job in a steel factory because the steel industrie will create new jobs thanks to the import tariffs.
I wonder how many Boeing engineers will be happy to work in a dirty and hot steel factory for a much smaller salary.
Even a 20% drop in sales will have a negative effect on employment related to the generated income for these people.

99.9% of the naysayers have more brains then Trump.
Trump was born rich and had numerous bankruptcies. If he would have be born poor he would still be poor.

If China is the problem, why is Trump attacking the rest of the world too?

MARKET INSIGHT: THE PRICE OF TARIFFS
By Joe Withrow, Head of Research, Bonner & Partners

As Bill reported, Trump recently announced tariffs on imported steel from the EU and Canada. This, as well as earlier trade tariffs, is having a noticeable impact on the price of steel.

Today’s chart tracks the price of steel, as measured by the NYMEX Midwest Hot-Rolled Coil Steel Futures, from the start of 2017 to today.

As you can see, the price of steel has risen 60% over the past 12 months – largely because of trade tariffs.

This makes it more expensive for Americans to buy common products containing steel, like vehicles, kitchen appliances, and tools. And the rising steel price also makes construction projects more expensive.

empty statement like this hurts your credibility. if net worth is the measuring stick, my 99.9 is actually being generous to the naysayers.... and your 99.9 has nothing behind it.

and your steel price graph is suppose to make what point? nobody said there would be no pain... the idea of a trade war is to see who cries uncle first... and right now the US is winning.

  8. Huh?

I'm not sure if it's 99.9%, but when it comes to number of bankruptcy filings or experience in screwing business partners or contractors, few can match Donald Trump.

keep mentioning the bankruptcies, is a sign that people have been brain washed by MSNBC, and don't understand how bankruptcies work.. I have explained in many posts about this.

was surprised to find this on CNN... the anti trump media usually avoid to report these things. there are actually more details from the Chinese official media, but those are in local langage.
