The most ignorant and hateful are the extreme liberals in power! There is Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama who said, you did not build that! You lost, get over it! Hillary Clinton who called Trump voters as a basket of deplorables? Blacks were super predators! Nobody called her out on that racist remark just because she was an utter liberal! Utter hypocrites you cannot take seriously. LOL. You want more lies? Your premiums will go down and you will save $2,500. You can keep your doctor. etc. Obamacare lies repeated by Obama, you guys perfected being utter liars!

I'm more than willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and stay cautiously optimistic. I just hope whatever deal he ends up making with China will happen fast.

I don't think it is at all a good thing having the US trying to bury its own head up it's own ass. That scenario was played out in the 1930s at the US leaving the League of Nations. And what was the result ? Hitler/Mussolini and co scrambled into power to fight WW2.
Much better not to sulk on the sidelines but engage with the Rest of the World.

Perhaps you don't care if a car is 10% cheaper. But I do when I buy a new car. I spent hours trying to negotiate a $500 more discount and I would buy a Chevy rather that a Toyota if it is truly 10% cheaper. On a $30K car it is $3K, not insignificant for someone on a budget.

    Sorry I have to reply.

I don't drive Audi, Mercedes or BMW. When I shopped for cars, I only looked at VW, Chevy and Toyota.:( For me, 10% is a big deal. Perhaps Europeans are all better off, more well to do, and don't care about 10%.

Anyway, your points are well taken and I do understand.

  8. Thank you sir, may I have another?

I sure hope these trade issues get worked out quickly before we end up tanking the global economy.

We may end up with a lower trade deficit, but if our economy is in ruins, what is the point?

Fair trade would be a positive for most markets because trade would increase not decrease! The only reason it is a big issue now is those who got unfair trade agreements because US politicians sold the public out, now do not want to give up those advantages! They should realise a trade war will destroy their economies by a far larger scale than the US! Why? They have the surplus and any tariffs imposed will hurt more of their businesses, cost jobs in their countries when the simple solution is say yes to fair trade from here on out! That is the only thing President Trump wants. Remove all the tariffs on all products and buy more US goods and a deal can be struck. China offered to buy more US goods by a small amount. They were not really serious about engaging in fair trade. Not yet, anyways!

I see the Trump administration is threatening to pull out of the WTO which surely wouldn't happen as it would lead to the loss of it's intellectual property of which would be devastating to US corporations - economy.
