and this is a problem? again - look at the real stuff that's happening... first goal was China - going well for the moment, ZTE was fined, China car tariff lowered, along with other lines of goods... financial sector opened up.

The left only has nothing burgers... please don't be like them, or argue like them... pointless, literally.

ideas ideas ideas. the left lost because they had none.

some of trumps stuff wont result or pan out, some will. he is able to put forth ideas and execute, that is why he was elected.

if you dislike trump, thats fine no worries. but at least strive to champion ideas instead of lighting cars on fire.

the world is progressing while the left is not

it's really a shame.. technological advancement can be a major one, considering so many silicon valley techs are left leaning... better healthcare system, better welfare system, better education system, crime control..a lot of these things that the Dem's vote base care about, can be improved by technology.. they really need some fresh blood with fresh ideas to rally the base... but Mark Z is too busy selling data to make a buck.... meanwhile poor Nancy Pelosi is still hanging in their with her dementia getting worse every time she makes a public speech... and poor Bernie looking more like a crazy old homeless guy.

it's really pathetic at this point.

US is also the one typically starting wars, at least all the major ones. If you want to go on adventures, better pay for the air fare.

And like I said before, some EU countries have been paying their required share of GDP, what about them?

You have to understand their mindset.
If a deal is great for Trumpies and completely unfair for everyone else, it's awesome and things are great, that's "the market" according to them.
Now when the market changes and they are even slightly at a disadvantage, it's a horrible deal and the rules go out the window - along with capitalism.

so I pointed out your wrong facts, then you conveniently point to 'some EU countries'... what is 'some', what %? see the big picture how the US has been ripped off? I thought you were talking about big picture before.

    too many logical errors.

Typical behavior I see on ET all the time. My facts presented have all been correct, I never once have said all EU countries spend the NATO minimums.

I have to reiterate once again - Europe is not a country, one country cannot force something on another (although the big ones can influence a lot).

It does not matter if it was even just one country meeting the minimums. Greece for example - NATO is an agreement and both the US and Greece are bound by it. You can't break this contract just because Slovakia or Ireland isn't spending enough.

  9. Goldfish :) good description but dozy would be a Trump nickname I expect to undermine you. You remind me of myself a few years ago, decades of dev PM and other IT work had chopped my brain into little frayed threads of attention and focus. This can actually be used defensively in a corporate setting when you return the informational noise back to them, you probably get what I mean.

You had better hope that Steve M is calling the shots and Trump obeying as Trump is operating in populist mode and they ruin everything. He has failed and under-performed in everything to date, "nobody knew" etc. You will just say no, he did great no matter what, squid ink.

In six months (weeks / days) you will see what Trump has achieved in the summit. It won't matter.

But before that you had better try to grasp why playing with tariffs and moving suppliers does not solve deficits, even assuming that deficits are a problem.
